If you’re dreaming of leaving your car behind for a few days of relaxation, our charming holiday home is perfect for you! Ideally located right in the heart of the town of Andernos-les-Bains, you’ll be just a stone’s throw from the covered market and the outdoor market, the pedestrian streets, the parks, the cinema, and the beach. You can stroll over to enjoy an ice cream in the evening at the pier, savour fresh oysters at the oyster port, enjoy outdoor jazz festivals, or have a coffee on the beautiful Place du 14 Juillet. You’ll take the boat to explore Arcachon, Cap Ferret, and, of course, the famous Île aux Oiseaux! You’ll enjoy the house’s two terraces depending on the day’s sunshine, and you can dine on the veranda on cooler evenings. “The House Across the Street,” attached to its twin, features an entryway, a pantry/laundry room, a bathroom with double sinks, a separate toilet, a living room, a veranda, and a fully equipped kitchen (including an oven and dishwasher). On the ground floor, there is a beautiful bedroom with a 140-cm bed and a “treehouse-style bedroom” for children with two bunk beds. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a 140-cm bed and a terrace where you can relax in peace. The front yard and small back garden are lush with greenery and secluded from prying eyes. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi.
The pedestrian streets, the marina, the oyster port with its many food huts, the parks, the cinema, the supermarkets, the outdoor markets, and the covered market—everything is within walking distance. Close to the beaches of the Arcachon Basin and the Atlantic, you’ll enjoy a peaceful stay in this house at the end of a cul-de-sac, and you can park your car right in front of the house. Finally, the bike path is at the end of the street, and you’ll enjoy renting or bringing your own bikes to explore the many trails that criss-cross the town and all the surrounding areas all the way to the ocean. At the end of the Andernos pier, you’ll see the stilted huts, Île aux Oiseaux, and all the unique charm of the Arcachon Basin. A true slice of paradise, not to mention the many activities organised by the town, such as shore crab fishing, guided walks, canoe trips, the climbing park, the indoor climbing gym, and more.
