For the price this was pretty nice. Communication was quick and easy and the location was exactly what we were going for too. The instruction for the parking garage etc. left us without any questions, overall a good experience for our family.

great location, cute little place. elevators were pretty slow.. nearly waited 20 minutes to go down, parking was good. overall, pretty sweet!!

The location was central to everything in the Waikiki area and easy access to freeway for other areas. The view of the ocean from the balcony was a beautiful start to each day and the room came with beach chairs and an ice chest which worked out perfect for our excursions.

We completely enjoyed our stay in the heart of Hawaii. The location allowed for easy walking to Waikiki beach and everything the area has to offer. The FREE parking was much appreciated for our rental car for when we wanted to explore the island. The condo had everything we needed, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of start up supplies that lasted our stay. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated. Laundry facilities are conveniently located on each floor. The communication with Midway Vacation was top notch. The elevator renovation had zero negative impact on our stay. We felt completely at home and wish we could of stayed another week.

The place was sufficient for our needs. We were out and about most of the time and basically needed a place to sleep. The bathroom is small and the tub was slippery. The AC unit leaks on the patio, which can cause someone to slip. Being on the 17th floor balcony is scary when it is slippery. Great location for walking around Waikiki. Close to the beach, restaurants, stores.

As a returning former resident (born and raised on Oahu but with no more family to stay with), we have been used to doing a more traditional VRBO type stay in a residential neighborhood. With current restrictions on place for those units, we elected to stay at Waikiki Banyon with the hope that it would be the least “touristy” option in Waikiki.
We could not be happier with our experience. Our initial concern was parking (Waikiki is extremely challenging in that respect)- but Waikiki Banyon has a five level parking garage and there were always spots available at all hours for our rental car. We also wanted the ability to come and go often (we spend a lot of our time outside of Waikiki) and the location was perfect- we could take Kuhio easily to Kapahulu and avoid much of the usual Waikiki traffic,
Our unit was super clean and perfectly located. For tourists, it was ideal as well given the proximity to the beach and all of the wonders Waikiki has to offer. The host was extremely communicable and easy to reach, and everything was provided to us without issue, with clear guidance.c
We will not hesitate to stay at Waikiki Banyon again on our next visit- it was exactly what we were looking for!

Smelly pillows & short on bath towels.
We saw beach sand on kitchen floor when we walked in. That was an immediate huge turn off! There was only 1 paper towel throughout 8 days of our stay. We have total 3 people and not enough bath Towels! The two extra pillows in the closet were smelly, with an old used smell.. not the typical laundry light bleach smell. The sofa had an old smelly sweat odor as well. We were stuck with other people’s odor for 8 days! We will not want to rebook this place unless provided with EXTRA clean towels, EXTRA bedsheets, CLEAN pillows and sanitary spray down the entire place. Also…please replace your sofa as it’s sagging. Also, sofa material has others’ sweat odor smell collected in the fabric!

This listing says the home can accommodate 5 people but we had a lot of difficulty with just 3. The bathroom is missing a door which made it difficult to find somewhere to change. The toilet area of the bathroom does have a door but it doesn't close all the way. Do not come here with children because the door to the balcony does not latch. The microwave sent sparks flying when we tried to use it. And don't count on an actual sofa bed, it's just a sofa where back can fold down. We didn't feel covid-safe either since the other people in the elevators and common spaces did not wear a mask

I enjoyed being so close to the water, just a short walk. Good walkable location. The unit was clean and had everything we needed to make basic meals. The lobby was nice the unit was nice the hallway was not, seemed not to match up. The beds seem to be full size, comfortable for a family with young kids but maybe not 4 adults. Nice and convenient to have parking included the spots on the street looked always full. Contactless check in and out.
