Pleasantly decorated, homey, interesting books, good basic kitchen, close to a very nice beach for lounging and swimming and to Tanglewood. Good for a couple or small family.

Hi Maria! My apologies!! Can you please send me a PM and let me know what wasn't cleaned properly?? I definitely want to let the cleaning crew know. Thanks so much!
Lovely cottage located on a very quiet secluded street at the Stockbridge Bowl, close to the town beach. Perfect for concert going at Tangelwood, just over a mile to the Lion Gate. Easy access to towns stretching from Pittsfield to Great Barrington.
This rustic property had loads of charm and an excellent location in the heart of the Berkshires. A perfect size for the two of us, in a quiet semi rural neighborhood. Just minutes from the town beach, and many great destinations in the Stockbridge and Lenox area. Great for relaxation, and a definite feeling of a summer camp property. The host was very helpful.
Wonderful small house nestled in the woods close to Lenox, Tanglewood, Stockbridge and all else in the Berkshires. A quick walk to the Stockbridge public beach and a beautiful swim. The house is very cute, and has absolutely everything one would need. Owner was very responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!!
Looked thru many properties in Berkshires. This was as promised. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, close to towns but quiet, rural. Only the lake was a disappointment but not much host could do about that.

Great location, just up the hill from the beautiful Stockbridge bowl beach. Near everything. Great sleeping. Wonderful fan in living room we discovered late. Lovely kitchen and dining area. Great deck.
No place on earth like the Berkshires.
We experienced world class ballet, theatre, music and great food. Just bring own washcloths and face towels. And enjoy!

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your brief stay at my cabin but glad you were able to enjoy the Red Lion Inn with your wife. Be well!
Spent an extended weekend in the Berkshires with friends to attend a concert at Tanglewood. Shelley was a great host and the property was extremely well appointed and in a great location. A few highlights:
Pros:
* Cottage had everything we needed - including towels, linens, paper products, board games, and a very well stocked kitchen.
* Great Location - especially if attending a concert at Tanglewood
* Great water pressure in the shower
* Comfortable, clean beds
* While rustic, we found the property to be clean
* Communication with host was great - great area recommendations, and she left a nice treat for us upon our arrival - super sweet!
A couple of callouts:
* We found the pillows to be on the thin side - but certainly a personal preference
* Garbage is your responsibility to take to the local dump - we left on a Sunday and the dump was closed (understandably) so we brought our trash home with us.
We would definitely return if we come back to the area!
The home is rustic, but very clean. We enjoyed our stay and we were happy with with our choice of location and the home. The owner was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. Thanks so much!
The cottage is cozy and comfortable and the location can't be beat! My family enjoyed some of the many near-by attractions, Tanglewood, The Clark Art Institute, restaurants, and hikes.
Can't wait to go back next summer!
I've been coming to the Berkshires with my family for 30 years. Let me know if you want a recommendation!
What makes this property unique
This historical cottage was built and is part of a larger community established by BSO musicians & artists during the 60's. This is what the Berkshires are about.
