Absolutely loved our stay, such a beautiful home in an incredible location. We had everything we needed and everything was clean and tidy. Always a win when you can have a hot spa after a surf too. 10/10 Would recommend

Perfect little getaway

One thing to know is this Bach is that it’s about a 10 minute drive from Raglan. You must have a car to get around the area. That said we loved the location, so private. The view of ocean is amazing but beware there is no beach at this location. The unit was well equipped and we enjoyed the outdoor deck area and spa. Hope to be back soon!

Restful retreat

This was just as described, quiet, private and with a view to die for. A petite bach for a perfect recharge. Dolphins playing from the deck or window, sunny outlook or moody views. Thank you for providing a stunning place to stay and for replying to our questions promptly.

We loved everything about our stay at the Whale Bay Surf Bach. The location to the waves is just steps away. Beautiful views of the points in a quiet neighborhood.

Stunning location and well-appointed property

My wife and I stayed at Whale Bay Surf Bach for 4 nights in April and agreed it was one of the best stays we have ever had. The location and views are incredible. Nothing beats checking the surf from your bed, taking a private entrance to one of the best breaks in the country, and then relaxing in the jacuzzi with ocean views. The property itself was very clean and had all the right amenities. Hope to return again soon!

Whale bay 🙌

Unforgettable experience staying here at whale bay. Walk out to whale or indies, surf your brains out then jump in the hot tub, eat and repeat!

Everything you need for a relaxing holiday

This place was very comfortable and practical. The extra things supplied like salt/pepper, oil/vinegar, tea/coffee/sugar meant we didn’t have to buy and then waste our own. The location is unbeatable. We can’t wait to go back.

Incredible little oasis

We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was in perfect condition and with everything we needed, including really great small touches (raglan roast coffee, nice bed linen etc). It’s right over the water, couldn’t get closer to the surf, and everything was super easy. Thanks so much! Would stay here again without hesitation

Second visit this year and we'll be back!

Just as lovely as last time - see my first review. A lot of surf action this week so very good viewing. I can't imagine there are many spots around Raglan that get you closer to the action, while staying safe and dry with a nice glass of something in hand :) Highly recommended.

A wee gem.

You could not be closer to the sea and the gate at the bottom of the property, that opens onto the sea path is totally 'magic garden'. The flat is is very well designed and makes the absolute most of a relatively small space through clever design. Comfortable and with a bachy vibe but at the same time everything is fresh and modern. The listing's pictures are totally accurate and lying in the spa listening to the surf is just the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.
