About John and Rose
Gidday! My name is John and my wife's name is Rose, and we have lived on the Coromandel Peninsula for 16 years. We have been hosting travelers to our apartment since about 2008. We have two teenage daughters who help us out when they can. We own an eco-tourism business which provides a range of tour options and sightseeing opportunities for visitors. I also own a cycle coaching business. We have 2 Morris Minor cars - a 1950 convertible and a 1971 pickup truck. We look forward to seeing you very soon!
John and Rose purchased this Apartment in 2003

Very quiet, we are well away from the State Highway, so there is no traffic noise. The birdlife is spectacular, and the views are great. Spend time in the evening sitting on the deck watching the sun set in front of you.

This was a great place to stay , clean and comfortable accomodation, with very friendly host, view to die for, only hazard was the very steep drive ,but well worth the effort.,would recommend it to anyone, and they just might get us returning in the near future
R&R to the Max
What an amazing getaway with fantastic views. Everything you need is here and the birdsong and sound of the waves makes for the most peaceful atmosphere. Will for sure be coming back.

Our holiday at Ngarimu Bay
Very nice, great location, beautiful scenery. Awesome views. Very relaxing and comfortable, had a lovely time, caught a snapper, yummy. Will certainly stay again.
The apartment is located at Thornton Bay on the Thames Coast. The town of Thames, approximately 15 minutes drive away, is a an historic town with lots of old buildings and heritage features from the gold rush of the 1870's. Thames is a service town with restaurants, pubs, a supermarket, and a farmers market on Saturday mornings. Our property is an ideal base to explore the Coromandel Peninsula, and most of the attractions are within easy reach. We are happy to help you plan your Coromandel adventure when booking and when you arrive.
