Beachfront Enclosure Bays modern design has been built to encapsulate its outstanding views.

Perfectly positioned for privacy, peace and tranquility and located directly above Enclosure Bay, which is a lovely beach, perfect for little ones as it feels like a giant swimming pool and is completely safe. With caves and wonderful rock walks to be had from this location and Native Tui surrounding the property as they play and sing.

The open plan living space, located on the top floor, consists of a comfortable lounge, a cosy dining area and designer kitchen. The private sun-washed north facing deck runs off the lounge and is ideal for morning coffee during sunrise and a delicious BBQ at sunset, all while you overlook the fabulous Hauraki Gulf.

4 comfortable bedrooms are located downstairs, 3 of which open onto a deck allowing you enjoyment of the superb views over the bay, and the fourth having its own separate external entrance.

Being a comfortable and modern home, you are equipped with all the essentials such as Heat pump / Aircon, LCD TV, SKY, Stereo, Complimentary WiFi, Nespresso Coffee Machine, BBQ, outdoor furniture and 2.5 bathrooms.

Please note that there is a steep driveway leading to the front door. Kindly park in front of the garage, which is half way up the drive, and walk around the front of the house to reach the entrance.

The property is suitable for a maximum of 8 guests.

We loved the spacious bright house. the only thing better than sitting in the lounge or on the deck looking at the stunning view was being able to physically immerse ourselves in it with only a five minute walk down to the beach.

Amazing long weekend at Enclosure Bag

This place was WOW as soon as we arrived. Beautiful house with beautiful views over Enclosure Bay. Lots of swimming and exploring round the rocks. Four couples each had there own comfortable bedroom, kitchen had everything you needed. We just had the best time.

Spacious house with great main floor views

I enjoyed a pleasant stay at this Enclosure Bay property. It's peaceful and spacious, with great views from the main floor and porches. The arrival instructions were thorough and helpful. The furniture and beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The only minor issue I had was that the two bedside lamps in the primary bedroom weren't working. I borrowed from another bedroom. I would've loved a few more supplies in the kitchen (spices, vinegars, newer oils) but the pre-arrival information was clear that the pantry would be spare. This property faces east so sunrises were lovely and golden hour hit the bay in a beautiful way - but don't count on late afternoon sun or pretty sunsets.

Stunning Location

Our accommodation at Enclosure Bay was amazing. Stunning views & location. Rather steep property but a good work out 😅 Everything was very clean & well equipped. Only issue really was very poor lighting in the kitchen at night. Needs addressing as quite hard to see what you’re doing if you’re cooking. Initially the light seems bright but then they dim until you can hardly see at all. We suspect they are halogen & should be upgraded to LED. The light in the range hood also doesn’t work so that doesn’t help either. A light in one of the bedrooms also needs a bulb replacing. Otherwise the property description was accurate & delivered everything promised.

This place was perfect for our family. Really really enjoyed the space, the views and the beautiful lagoon! Rocks pools were amazing to explore so many creatures to find The place was super clean and had all the utensils you need for a stay. So many warm blankets too! Gave us many great memories Thank you heaps for the amazing stay :) will definitely be coming back

Stunning outlook

We had a great stay with our grown family. Amazing spot, easy walk to beach. Comfortable house. A little cold in bedrooms but it is midwinter. Some mould in showers need attention and the windows were hard to see out of. Just minor things. We would stay again. Loved Waiheke.

Perched right above Enclosure Bay

Comfortable property with lovely view and outdoor sitting area, sleeps 4 couples. Sufficient room in lounge and eating area for 8. A few maintenance issues such as an exterior door that wouldn’t close or lock and a Nespresso machine that didn’t work. Our booking was confused by a change of payment provider in between making our deposit and the final payment - this resulted in multiple emails claiming non-payment and threats of cancellation by one agency despite timely payment being made to new agency. Poor communication.

Hi Ross, Thank you for staying with us and apology for the few hiccups. Just to advise the door was an issue created by the house shifting in the hot dry weather. We had organized for its repair, but as there were items required that were not available on island at the time, these had to be ordered, and had not arrived before your booking. This has now been attended to. The coffee machine I checked myself after you departed, and it actually worked fine, so not sure what the issue was, but a quick call to our office would have resolved the issue as they would have come out to attend to it, but as it turned out there wasn't a problem. Regarding the payment issue, that was due to the Portals error so nothing we could do about that, but glad it got resolved. Anyway it was lovely to have you stay, and hope we will see you again. Happy memories of Enclosure Bay

The house was very suitable for us, two oldies from the UK, our daughter, son in law and grand children aged 9 and 6 from Adelaide. The open plan living space worked well. We loved the ever changing tidal view of Enclosure Bay that offered delightful swimming and rock pools for the kids. The central island location was ideal. We used the coastal path into town. The beds, bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. The only things we missed were beach towels. Also the quantity of glasses, particularly tumblers, was low. To the best of my knowledge, we were not advised that cleaners were due to arrive at the house one day. As we were going out and unsure about them, we asked them to leave. An email from the office to us would have been useful and a visit from cleaners would have been welcome.

Lovely relaxing time for our girls reunion

A perfect place to relax overlooking Encounter Bay - just a very short walk from the house The 4 lovely bedrooms, all with great views, gave us room to spread out and the lounge area with an open kitchen to cook and gossip together. A very relaxing time had by all. As we were eating in most days we could have used a couple of larger salad bowls and a bit more cutlery
