Studio Apartment on Shelly Beach Road overlooking Putiki Bay

Shelly Beach Studio is a light, modern 1 bedroom apartment located in a peaceful spot at the end of a quiet street, reminiscent of old Waiheke.
Wake up in the morning to beautiful sea views from your bed and more sea views from the lounge.
Relax on a private balcony in the sun overlooking a lush garden with fruit trees.
Barbeque on the deck in the evening and watch the sun go down over the hills.

The bus stop at the end of Shelly Beach Road will take you in all directions on the island.
Our electric bikes are also a great way to see the island!

Rent our electric bikes (1 lady’s bike, 1 man’s bike), subject to availability.
This a great way to get around Waiheke Island, flattens the hills! $20 per day, per bike.

2 Kayaks are available for guests to use for free. Putiki Bay is a beautiful bay to explore by kayak and
safe for children and people new to kayaking.

The property is fully fenced so perfect for children. There is a trampoline in the garden under a spreading olive tree.
Just a 2 minute walk to secluded beach with a jetty and pohutakawa trees for shade in the summer.

Large,sunny lounge and kitchen. Bedroom with luxurious bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet.
Extra people (2) can sleep in the lounge on the double fold-out sofa.

Wifi available, tv and dvd.
Porta cot available.

It is a 5 minute drive to Oneroa village and an easy walk to Goldie Vineyard and Saturday market.

Wonderful place to have break

We stayed on the island for three days and really enjoyed the great walking tracks and the beautiful beaches at the island has. If you’re chasing Kiwis I recommend maybe taking an extra torch that has red so that the kids have a torch to if Do you want to go and see if you can see the Kiwis The rangers on the island were wonderful and even picked us up at wharf. We decided to walk to the house but having someone to take our bags and food up was great. The house Very comfortable

Wonderful facilities and great host!

This was a wonderful way to start our New Zealand adventure. The accommodation is fantastic, spacious, and in a nice location. Louise is a super helpful and gracious host- helping us make it possible to see the island both via bicycle and to do a great hike in the native bush. A perfect way to spend my birthday! Two day stay, pull out bed was very uncomfortable, clean, Grant very helpful.

Disappointed with pull out bed,,very saggy. Generally clean altho crumbs from toasterr on bench, and dusty behind couch when finding plugs for tv. Grant helpful . Pamphlets could do with sorting as some dated..pleasant surroundings. New to bookabach so hard to compare for price.

Handy location, cozy comfortable stay with use of kayaks a bonus. Having the linen provided is also a nice extra....would suggest the towels are due for a refresh. Overall a very nice place for small family.

Louise was very friendly and welcoming. Her friendly dog Benny welcomed us home a few times which was also really nice. The accommodation was spot-on, spacious, clean and warm with gorgeous views over the trees to the bays and yachts from every room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would come again.

Lovely place.

Lovely place. Super sunny and gorgeous bay views. Nice and private from the main house. The photos make the place look smaller than it is! It was better than expected which is always nice. Comfy bed, big shower, full kitchen and lounge etc. Lovely place for a getaway. Shelly Beach is lovely too - beautiful beach and top location for getting around to all areas of Waiheke.
