This beach house is set high to capture the glorious sea views of Ligar Bay. It features a large open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors to the front deck. There are three well appointed bedrooms: Two queen bedrooms and one room with 1x King single, 1x single and a set of bunks. This third room can be configured into a super king bed making it the perfect house for 3 couples to stay or for families. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets.
The front deck is accessed from the living area and leads down to the spacious lawn below. It features a large picnic table for meals and cape cod chairs for watching the sunsets out to sea. The second internal deck is accessed from the living area and the main bedroom. It basks in the morning sun with glorious views of native bush and the resident native birds. Both decks are child friendly with gates above stairs.
This house is only a few minutes walk to the golden sands of Ligar Bay beach. Ligar bay is the perfect beach for families with breathtaking beauty and expansive golden sand. Included in the house are two sea kayaks and life jackets. Take them down at high tide for a paddle to explore the bay, lagoon and the caves!
There are more countless stunning beaches as you head towards Able Tasman National park. Or you may choose to explore one of the many walks through native forest to waterfalls or stalagmite caves. There are also wonderful local walks for families with young children at Te Waikoropupu Springs, The Grove and The Labyrinth rocks.
If you are in the mood for a drink and bite to eat you are spoiled for choice with excellent coffee and woodfire pizzas at Totos and Dangerous Kitchen. Our other favourite choices in the area include the Wholemeal cafe, Courtyard Cafe and the Cheeky Goat tapas Kiwi Spirit Distillery. You are spoilt for choice!
