Awesome holiday home

Located at bush-clad Staffa Bay, a quiet and secluded white sand beach at the end of Woolley’s Bay.

This modernised and recently refurbished house is nestled in the bush 100m from the beach with extensive views of the sea and surrounding bush and farm land. Two storeyed with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom upstairs and a double bedroom and triple bedroom downstairs. Offers separate bedroom accommodation and separate bathrooms for two families with shared kitchen and living area. Fully equipped with all modern appliances. Extensive sunny deck which allows superb indoor/outdoor living.

Safe swimming. Surf at Woolley’s Bay or nearby iconic Sandy Bay (5 mins drive). Easy walking through bush reserve to beautiful Whale Bay or the golden white sand of Matapouri Bay.

The Matapouri store is a 20 minute walk through bush for your daily paper or basic supplies.

A pleasant getaway for the long weekend. Kids enjoyed walks to the beach, and the house was 👍

Our stay at beautiful Matapouri

We stayed a week at this holiday home. Warren was lovely to deal with, we booked last minute and he kindly accommodated us, he let us arrive early and leave at our leisure which we really appreciated. The house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We loved staying here and will book again. The recommended walks were also stunning. Thanks so much for having us.

Great batch - totally recommended.

This batch is nestled in the bush but 70m away from a private beach and really close to incredibly lovely beaches. It's a family batch and is comfortable, clean, warm, great kitchen, good beds, lovely communication with the owner. All really great. Totally recommended.

The batch is located in an ideal location with a private bay. Many walks and activities in the surrounding. The batch is well equipped and very nice place to stay with some friends. The communication was easy and instructions clear, no problem. Would recommend

Amazing View

Good location with amazing view and close to the beaches. Property is clean with complete cooking facilities, linens, towels and toiletries. The outdoor dining table is the highlight for us. The hosts also allowed us to check in early and check out late. There are two floors with separate entrances and the stairs to access the floors are located outside only. We decided to just use the top floor as we do not want to sleep separately. Some of us slept on the living room. There is no WIFI, so if you are like us who are planning to do some dancing and karaoke, make sure you have enough data or bring your own music. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

Lovely quiet spot

We had a lovely stay in Staffa Bay. Sitting out on the deck in the afternoons glimpsing the sea amongst the trees was very relaxing. The private bay itself is magical and beaches in the area are absolutely world class.

What a fabulous location, your own provide beach (Staffa Bay) at the end of your driveway for an afternoon swim was beautiful. The house provided plenty of room for 7 of us. The outdoor living was perfect for afternoon cocktails.

Beautiful place

Fabulous stay on the Tutukaka Coast

Perfect spot for a weekend but even better when you have a wedding in Matapouri and want a haven of quiet to balance the celebration. Lovely to have family from Australia get a taste of this area - everything just as we expected/hoped Thankyou.
