The property was very well equipped and comfortable. We were met by the host who showed us around and was ready to answer our questions. Having access to the canoes to paddle the river was a bonus as was the fire that was ready to light if needed. Our little dog enjoyed the open space. Location was central to be able to visit Albany and Denmark easily. A great stay. Thank you.

So glad that you were able to stay with us and that you enjoyed yourselves. Thanks for leaving the house spotless and hopefully you can visit again sometime.
Had a fantastic stay with my dog for a couple of nights. Lovely hosts and property with plenty of space. Convenient location right near Mutton Bird Beach for early morning runs with the dog and a short drive to Mt Barker for bakery treats. Albany is also only a short drive away. We had the best holiday here.

What a beautiful quiet spot in natures glory from the river to the sea, i felt like i was on the set of 'where the crawdads sing" owner went above and beyond to make me and my fur children feel comfortable, his dog Fella is a gorgeous boy and played nicely with my two. Thank you for introducing them. I could hear the ocean at night felt at home. Nrarby Mutton Bird beach was also lovely spot for doggos.

A little tricky to find but a really great spot and we enjoyed our stay. We're really happy we chose it over a motel and got to bring our dog on the family holiday.

Thanks for visiting us and leaving the place tidy and clean.
We hope you give the motel a miss again and can find time to visit us again.
We were in awe when we 1st arrived. So picturesque with appropriate size cabin. The host was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. The cabin was large with great size, and well equipped kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Our dog absolutely loved the open spacious outdoors. We stayed for an event but hope to return for a relaxing holiday. Thankyou for a great experience.

Glad the weather was good - enabling you to get out and about.
The kids were a delight and well mannered.
The house was left in excellent condition and we hope you find the time to visit again.
This was such a beautiful place to stay. Ian was welcoming and the the cottage was comfortable clean and had everything we needed. The kids jumped straight into the Kayaks that were there and spent lots of time playing on the lawns, riding bikes around the property and kayaking on the river and out on the lake. Our dog loved it -with the dog beach a few mins down the road which is also a beautiful surf and swimming beach - truly pristine natural environment very beautiful and a great place to stay. The cottage is not huge - but it has high ceilings making it feel spacious, its comfy beds, lovely veranda and BBQ and beautiful outlook make it 100% a great place to stay - close to Albany / close to the Gap and Natural Bridge - Really recommend this place if you want a fun getaway in nature and with your dog and kids. or for a quite couples getaway
A wonderful little spot by the water. It was an absolute privilege to spend some time in the peace and quiet.Ian and Nesta are amazing hosts who made sure we had everything we needed and pointed us towards the best beach spots to take the kids.We will definitely be back again!

Glad you enjoyed yourselves - we certainly enjoyed your visit and look forward to your visiting again in the not too distant future.
Absolutely beautiful property. Our hosts were so welcoming and the only downside was that our visit was too short.
Our kids loved the freedom to run wild and explore. It was so calming to be able to relax by the fire with a wine and look out at the amazing views.
The home had everything we needed and we'll be returning for sure. Thanks for a lovely stay!

It was such a pleasure to have such a lovely family here. We are so glad you could share our paradise.
Please come again for longer next time.
Scenic setting amongst trees with view to lake and river. Fireplace, king sized bed, kitchen and roomy bathroom. All good. Near beach and walks.
Please keep quiet about this place so it is free next time we book!
Wonderful place to escape and get back to nature. No car noises, just birds and the rustling of the leaves. The view is awesome, and so is the 4wd access down to the river and ocean.Magical No
