‘OURZ’ is a modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday home within walking distance to the very popular Middleton Beach.

Across the road from the Middleton Beach Bowling Club, and only a short distance from Eyre Park where the kids can run and play to their hearts content. There are also plenty of great eating places near OURZ.

For those into golf, it’s only a short drive to the Albany Golf Club.

If you’re into walking then the walk from Middleton Beach to Emu Point is sure to please you whether you wish to walk along the track or along the beach.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Middleton beach. Lots of room for three generations and walking Distance beach. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and it was good having two bathrooms.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however, there were a few things we wanted to point out. On the amenities list it says coffee machine will be provided but it wasn’t there. We were only given a few packets of instant coffee that we finished the first day. When we entered the house, it wasn’t cleaned properly as there was still sand all over the floor. The sofa and cushions had lots of stains on them, which made us feel like it was dirty n wasn’t cleaned properly.

We recently stayed at this property and found the location to be a real highlight. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach and nearby cafés, which made it easy to get out and enjoy the area. There’s also a park and playground directly across the road — ideal for families with young kids. The house itself is spacious, the enclosed backyard is a big plus, check-in was straightforward, and a cot was supplied which made travelling with little ones much easier.Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall upkeep let the property down. There was an unpleasant odour in the house on arrival, and it did not feel very clean. The children’s couches were old and quite filthy, and when we moved one of the couches there was a significant build-up of dirt and rubbish underneath. The toy boxes also contained dirt and crumbs. In the kitchen, the sponges appeared reused and were crusty and dirty-looking. There is no dishwasher, and some of the plates in the cupboard were still wet.The garage height is quite low and does not accommodate larger vehicles, which is worth noting for anyone travelling with a bigger car.The property has strong potential given its size and location, but it needs a thorough deep clean and some general maintenance to meet expectations.

Just a short stroll to Middleton beach. Perfect location if you want to stay a little bit away from the hustle and bustle but still a short drive to shops etc. House was perfect for our Family of 6. The house was clean, very organised and large enough for our family. My only recommendation would be to bring any takeaway containers with lids etc if you plan on doing any day trips.

We had an amazing stay at this holiday house near Middleton Beach! The location was perfect — just a short walk to the beach.The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The beds were cozy, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing in the evenings. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy Albany — we’d definitely love to come back.

The only things clean were the sheets. The floors, sinks, and furniture were stained and covered in crumbs. Cupboards and drawers had previous guests dirty tissues, condom wrappers etc. (Left there as we didnt use, kept all our items in our cases) positive was location . This is a big house suitable for a large/extended family stay, in a good location. There are roadworks which made accessing the property a bit difficult, but obviously this is a temporary problem. There was wi-fi available, which was nice. There are kid size couches, pencils and drawing equipment. It was very family friendly. The host replied promptly to messages.The house appeared a little uncared for. The kitchen was a bit grubby and a few small things in the house are obviously in need of fixing (shower tap washers, a kitchen draw etc). The shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold. The host asks that you leave the house clean and tidy and dishes done (which is standard), and also that you sweep the whole house before leaving (which is not mentioned in the advertisements).Next time I would probably choose a different place to stay, but the house was functional, well located and family friendly.

Great location and well equipped

My kids loved the foosball table and played it constantly. The couch is super comfy and the living and dining area is roomy. The easy access to the side of the property is great for returning from the beach and fishing. There are great places to eat, just a short walk away and we all enjoyed our time in the park adjacent where my kids played basketball and on the zipline. Thanks for another great stay here, would highly recommend it.

The place was comfortable overall. There were a few cobwebs in places that hadn't been cleaned for a bit, otherwise the place was good. The pillows in the master bedroom weren't very good, would recommend bringing your own, if possible.

Return to our favourite place

Stayed as extended family, grandparents, parents and kids. The location was perfect close to beach and easy access to town and all the main tourist sites. The house was ideally laid out to give us space whilst being close to kids. My almost teen loved the double bottom bunk bed. The games room is a great touch. The host was helpful and quick to respond to questions. Loved our stay and sad to say goodbye. Thank you.
