Up in the mountains!!! Luxury self contained unit.

This semi detached home is situated on 5 acres above the Gibbston Valley - Queenstowns award winning wine growing area.

The unit is fully self contained with your warmth, comfort and privacy in mind. Designed to give you privacy inside and outside plus the added bonus of amazing views. Top quality beds and linen to match with down mattress toppers to keep you warm on even the coldest night. Outside sitting area to take in those starry nights or beautiful days - with brazier (weather permitting) and bbq.

In Gibbston there are a range of tasting rooms to enjoy as well as cycle and walking tracks. And of course the famous Kawerau bungy bridge (the first commercial bungy operation) is just 5 minutes away. Definately worth a look!!

We are 10 minutes drive from historic Arrowtown where restaurants and bars can be enjoyed. Millbrook and the Hills golf courses are also nearby.

For winter sport fans we are within 45 minutes drive to Cardrona, Coronet Peak and The Remarkable ski fields.

For peace and tranquility come and visit us in this beautiful mountain setting - bet you won't want to leave.

We stayed here with another couple. Leading up to the stay Lynne was communicative and friendly. When we arrived the place and views were beautiful and Lynne was very accommodating without being intrusive. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! Tony and I are passionate about living in this beautiful region. Tony is a keen gardener and we have been self employed for 30 years.
We love skiing in the winter, jet boating and hiking and biking around our beautiful region. When we get time off we love visiting new countries, and seeing your back yard.

Why they chose this property

We have lived in Gibbston for 15 years. 148 was just a paddock when we arrived but now we have many native and exotic trees in our garden and are enjoying seeing the bird life returning. Autumn is especially beautiful in this region with the change of season. We love being amongst the mountains and enjoy each seasons change to our scenery. We have been sharing our property with visitors for 11 years and enjoy meeting new people. We always greet you upon arrival, to show you around but after that we leave you to explore and enjoy your space in private. That being said we are always happy to have a chat over a glass of wine. You decide.

What makes this property unique

Our most unique benefit is the most amazing mountain views and sense of space , so different from city living.
The other benefit to living here is that we are centrally located to all that the region has to offer. Queenstown and Arrowtown for day trips and evening dining but also scenic day trips to Glenorchy, Wanaka, Cromwell and Bannockburn.
