About this property

3 bedroom modern bach 3 minutes from beach

This modern carpeted home is situated on a large grassy section with pohutukawa trees to lounge under. There is no wifi. Heatpump in the lounge. It benefits from morning sun to the kitchen and afternoon sun to the lounge and bedrooms. Deck is perfect for those summer bbq's. It sleeps up to 6 people, plus room for a portocot in 3rd bedroom.

The house is on a safe cul-de-sac where the kids often use scooters or play tennis on the road. A short 150 metre (2 min) walk via accessway to the southern end of the beach, where you can walk to the blowhole and scenic clifftop trails. 10 min walk to the Surf Lifesaving club which patrols in peak holiday times.

15 minute walk along the main road or beach to the Whiritoa store where you can grab icecreams, coffee, amazing fish n chips, and all the necessities. The gorgeous estuary at the northern end is safe for the kids and there is a beautiful 20 min trail to Waimama Bay with rockpools to explore and fish off.

15 min drive to Whangamata where there are 2 golf courses, beautiful hiking trails at Wentworth Valley, fishing charters and shops. 20 min drive to Waihi township.

NO DOGS ALLOWED THANKS. ONLY UP 2 CATS ALLOWED.

Bring your own linen. However, if required, linen can be provided. A cleaning fee to wash/dry the linen will apply. Duvet inners, plenty of blankets, and pillows provided. BBQ & portocot available for your use. As there is no cleaning fee, house to be left clean upon departure. Otherwise optional cleaning available from local reasonably priced cleaner.

There is also a 2nd bach available to rent on this large section, and is perfect for extended family or friends and can comfortably sleep 10. This can be rented seperately or together. See 'Peaceful home' #24617 ad for more information.

We love going to Whiritoa, and this bach didn't disappoint! Nice wee modern bach a quick walk from the southern end of the beach. Good amenities, and comfy rooms. Heat pump for comfort if needed. Good communication with the owner. We enjoyed our little getaway, thanks!

Wonderful place!

I believe we were very lucky in what we booked for our holiday just before Christmas. We were with friends. None of us had been to these places before. The house is very cozy. Neat, clean house. Everything you need is there. And most importantly, the beach is a minute's walk away. The beach is wonderful! And we were lucky with the weather. We were worried that it would rain all our weekend, but no. We swam, sunbathed and had a very good rest. Thank you Tania for the wonderful house near the ocean!
