About this property
Waterfront property with unlimited views
Stunning water views, and safe swimming beach only just metres away from the front door. Watch the sun set from the conservatory and/or the lights of the oil refinery light up on the other side of the harbour.
Sit and watch the sprats jump or occasionally sting rays and dolphins in the Bay.
Located on a quiet no exit road with a ramp to the water. Private back deck with shade sail. Large back yard for the kids to run around.
Please note this Bach is a traditional 'kiwi bach' and it is not modern or new, and in need of a makeover! It comes with plenty of charm and quirks, nothing matches, the windows and doors will open one day and not the next, and the floor will make you wonder…... But if want somewhere with a great view, a skip, hop and a jump to the water, and a homely, down to earth feel, then this for you.
Plenty of fishing and diving from the shore or from a boat. Close to Hen and Chicken Island. Beach launching for boat. Comes with gas BBQ and 2 kayaks, and outdoor shower for after your swim. Well known Mt Manaia offers excellent views and walking. Also plenty of other walks in the area.
Childrens playground 2 minutes walk away.
5 minutes drive to a local cafe & takeaways - also basic dairy provisions.
5 minutes drive to Manaia Club.
Petrol and further shopping about 10 minutes drive in Parua Bay.
Pines Golf Club 15 minutes drive
Tennis courts 5 minutes walk.
Stunning Ocean beach surf 10 minutes drive
Special conditions:
Pets allowed with prior approval (please note the section is not fenced)
Room for parking of 3 cars (or boat) in front of bach - extra parking available at back of section for a boat however this can get very wet in winter
Smoking allowed outside only
Please note: fireplace does not work and it does get cold in winter so come prepared. Heaters and hot water bottles provided.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: leave the house as you found it, ie clean the house, leave beds tidy and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels); take away your own rubbish.
Cleaning supplies supplied.
