We loved our stay! It was the perfect family home, with toys for the kids, a games room, board games, and a lovely outside space. It would be perfect in summer or winter. We enjoyed the very short walk to the beach too! We had such a wonderful stay we can’t wait to book again to stay.

Wonderful stay yet again

I think it’s about our fifth trip to whangapoua and to stay at this property. Communication is great and the house is in a wonderful location and is well equipped, always a great stay.

Awesome place

Such a great place - amazing indoor outdoor flow and open kitchen / dining layout, heaps of space and beds, gas hot water, great beds and super location- just a stroll up to the shop and beach! If anything the pictures don’t do this place justice. Wish we had more time to play all the games available!!

Wonderful whangapoua

The property is a good kiwi bach. Very well set up with plenty of games etc for everyone to enjoy. The bach layout works well for families with children as the bunk room is next to the parents room. The main bedroom is at the other end of the house. Great for grandparents. The covered deck is perfect for predinner wine & cheese. Location is perfect with an easy walk across the grass reserve to the magnificent beach. The beach store is very well set up. Supermarkets will deliver from whitianga on set days. Easy drive to whitianga if necessary. Overall a great bach in a great location.

Great for family holiday

Nice clean home with plenty of activities for children and family on a wet day. 2 minutes to the beach in a quiet and relaxing setting.

Top Notch

Fabulous house and beautiful location, it had everything to make it a very comfortable stay. Our teenagers loved the table tennis and basketball setup in garage as an added bonus. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great Home w/ everything you need

4 adults (grandparents and parents) with our 2 kids (18mo boy & 4yo girl). Lovely home, ideal bedroom set up for the kids so, whilst sleeping, they can't hear the parents in the main entertainment area. We would consider the house for 2 families with kids (note: one bedroom is adjacent to the room with the 2 x high quality double bunks). Everything about the property is good quality; kitchen, living room, deck, bedrooms and garage. Oodles of games, dvds, books and plenty of space in the huge double garage and under cover deck if it rains for play. We would stay again and if the had the money, would buy! 🤣 A short walk to the nice main beach, has a reasonable surf break (with the right swell). The The Opera Point walk is really nice, down to the estuary with excellent views across to Matarangi. Also a great spot to take the kids fishing from the beach. At the beginning of the beach walk, it's an excellent spot for casting for 30cm+ Parore mid-tide (w/ pippies as bait).

Fun in the sun

This is our second year in this property. It works so well & is really well set up for families. The kids love all the games especially the table tennis. Easy access to the magnificent beach.

Great stay

This is the second time we've stayed at the property and we love it. The property is well kitted out with lots of things to do for both adults and children and the location is wonderful with just a short walk to the beach, shop and tennis courts. We've booked in again for next year!

Fantastic family weekend

This was a lovely spot, nice and close to the beach but located in a quiet street. The house is really well set up, our kids adored it. Such a great weekend!

Lovely house

Lovely house, plenty of toys for the kids and close to the shop/beach/park. Neighbours were quite noisy until early hours each night but that’s pretty normal in whangapoua as a whole so not a biggy.

Family fun time

Fabulous week. Weather gorgeous. The property was in an excellent location. Easy few minute walk to the stunning Whangapoua beach. Very well equipped with many games & activities for all ages. Our young grand children loved the table tennis table. The garage is setup as a perfect games room. There was also room for a tent outside. The covered outside deck was used extensively. We have stayed in several baches around the coromandel & 102 Lil pl is our favourite by far.

Fantastic kiwi summer holiday

Absolutely loved our time in this gem of a property. Absolutely fantastic location within a few minutes walk of the beach, shops and tennis courts. The property is lovely and well maintained and has lots of 'extra's' to make your stay so comfortable such as a fully stocked kitchen (utensils, crockery etc) and games for the family, table tennis, darts etc. We will be back!!

Whangapoua

Good size for a stay by two families. Everything that you need is there. Good quality beds though as tall people we find queen sized beds too small especially on a hot night. Handy to the beach. Found making bunks a real stuggle. Doesn't everyone though I guess? Was a little unsure how to leave the place as we paid a cleaning fee. I hope everything was ok. Watered the plants out back.

Thanks for leaving the house really tidy and for watering the plants. I definitely know what you mean about making the bunks! We opted for better inner sprung mattresses on the bunks for a better sleep (compared to just foam) however, that makes it more tricky to make.

Great beach holiday

Fantastic place to stay in a quiet cul-de-sac of similar holiday homes 2 min walk to beach. Everything you could need , very well appointed kitchen , the large internal garage area is a real bonus, and just an overall great 3 bedroom layout with master bed at one-end of house and two bedrooms at other end. Highly recommended. Thanks for having us,we very much enjoyed it.
