About this property

Kiwi Bach - walk to beach

Sunny, spacious Kiwi bach on a large elevated section on the old side of Waitarere. Short walk to the beach and village centre.

Sleeps 6+.

Upstairs: one large queen bedroom (with single mattress under bed), one twin single bedroom and toilet/shower.

Downstairs: Sleep out with double bed, additional shower and separate toilet, open plan kitchen/living, plus enclosed carport as additional dining/BBQ area.

Large fully fenced garden with flat lawn - perfect for kids, dogs and summer games.

Parking on the property and the main bedroom and deck upstairs has a glimpse of the sea.

Bedding is avail free of charge put please bring your own towels.

Initial booking is for up to four guests and includes master bedroom, twin bedroom, main bathroom and second downstairs toilet. For bookings of five or more the sleepout and second (downstairs) shower will be included. If you would like use of the sleepout with less than five guests please book for five to cover the extra cleaning and linen etc.

Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to clean the house and do the dishes before you leave.

Had a wonderful break with the family and our Golden Retriever. The house had everything we needed and was in a great location. Heaps of space to relax in and within easy walking distance of the 4 Square and beach. Can't wait to get back!!!

Perfect spot for a low key weekend break

This bach had everything we needed, and was a lovely spot for a weekend break. Close to the beach, near the local Foursquare (with a great tip from Barb that there are fresh croissants and bread!) with a great garden and home to unwind in. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Lovely area and house

Afew teething issues re cleanliness, locks, dog, booking and being checked on daily but over all a cool property and garden, was warm and safe. Awesome beach, cafe resturant and four square.

Complete beach and forest breakaway

Landlord lovely she came back and gave us wood for a brazier. Typical kiwi beach Bach with wonderful views and very relaxing atmosphere we had a very happy time

A Perfect Spot for Humans and Dogs!

We spent 12 days here with our dogs. It was just perfect. Close to beach and forest and the neighbours were all so friendly. Made us feel like we were one of the locals. The place is set up so well and soooo happy to have a fan in our room as it was an exceptionally hot couple of weeks weather wise. We loved this place and our dogs really had a great time and we will come again. Thank you Barb and Sam you’re great hosts! A++

Laura and her family were excellent guest. Arrived with three dogs respected all house rules and my neighbours commented on how well behaved the dogs were. house left in immaculent condition with all rubbish removed. these guests would be welcome back at anytime

Great place. Oooozes kiwi kick back charm.

Great stay

Thank you for a great stay. The weather wasn't great, but we've enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and warm at arrival. Clean and tidy and a quiet neighborhood. About a 5 - 7 minute walk to the beach... Taling our dog which was a bonus.

Nice easy stay. Spacious welcoming living area, big enough for our party of 4 adults to relax in. We arrived in the dark so the detailed directions were much appreciated and it was lovely to find the heater already on and the house cosy and warm for us. Great location.

This place is so well equipt and fully fenced so we could bring our dog. Host Barbara was super friendly and communicative. Bed was really comfy too. Definitely recommended this property.
