Great spot. Lovely water view.
Really nice property. Highly recommend. Wake up overlooking the ocean, stunning colours. Secluded behind natural bush.
A stunning vista complete with peace
A stunning view on a beautiful island...as it appears on the listing; what we couldn’t know was the quality of the furnishings . As other guests have remarked, this view is very deserving of a comfortable couch, instead of the thin cushioned plywood base 2 seater cane no. in situ. We chose to sit around the table in preference, but that built - in bench seating could also be much improved. All the cushions were misshapen and of no use . Having stayed in other (cheaper) Baches, all with quality bed linen, supplying fresh milk in the fridge, basics like ground coffee, olive oil etc, plus practical items appropriate to the setting like beach towels, especially if you are overseas travellers, we felt it was an overpriced stay. We did enjoy the peace, had a lovely swim down below as suggested ( using face washers for towels , as the text I sent to Uta , property manager had no effect) and the Pohutukawa tree spotlighted at night was beautiful. The view IS special but otherwise we were disappointed.
Loved our stay here so so much, it was the perfect place for our wedding anniversary!!! What a stunning view and the house was just lovely. I also appreciated the nod to Invercargill with the photo of old Tay St as I am from there originally. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Lovely stay. Great views
The place was exactly what we expected. Nice home with everything you could need. And great views of the water.

Hi Jamie, we're so pleased you enjoyed your honeymoon. Re local swimming, there's a sandy cove by the boat ramp at the end of Wharf Rd - keep right on the path below our house, 2-3 mins south along the bank (think you may have turned left). I'll be sure to let your parents know for their visit in a couple of weeks! Many thanks for your feedback and hope to have you stay again some time.. ; )
