The Palms is a light filled coastal home set close to the calm swimming coves of Sandy Bay and Enclosure Bay. Easy, practical, and well suited to families or friends, the house offers open plan living, generous decks, and sea views that support slow mornings, shared meals, and unhurried beach days.
The Space:
The Palms is arranged for relaxed island living, with bright interiors and an easy connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Sunlight moves through wide windows that look across native bush toward the sea, keeping the main living areas open and welcoming throughout the day.
The kitchen, dining, and living spaces flow together as one shared zone, making it simple to cook, eat, and spend time together. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking and works well with multiple people helping out. After a day at the beach, the lounge offers comfortable seating, a television with DVD player, and a selection of games and books for quiet evenings in.
Large doors open onto generous decks with outdoor seating and a barbecue, creating space for meals outside, afternoon sun, or a relaxed end to the day.
The bedrooms are set across two levels, offering a practical balance of privacy and connection for groups. Two bedrooms open directly to decks, providing quiet spots for morning coffee or evening sea air.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the home and outdoor areas throughout their stay.
Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is 10:30am.
Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available for a fee, but can only be confirmed closer to the day, depending on whether there are bookings before or after your stay.
The Neighborhood:
The Palms sits in the peaceful Palm Beach area, close to two of Waiheke’s favourite little bays, Sandy Bay and Enclosure Bay. Just a short drive away is Palm Beach itself, lined with calm water, a local store, and the much-loved Arcadia bar and café.
You’re also positioned near several of Waiheke’s most celebrated wineries and restaurants, including Stonyridge, Te Motu, Miro/Casita Miro, Wild on Waiheke, Te Whau, Peacock Sky, Mudbrick, Cable Bay, and The Heke Brewery & Distillery.
Oneroa Village is within 10 minutes, with cafés, boutique shops, takeaway spots, and essentials. The Saturday Ostend market and the local supermarket are also nearby.
Getting Around:
Regular buses run across the island and connect Palm Beach to Oneroa Village and the passenger ferry. Taxis and rideshare services are available but can be limited at peak times, so pre-booking is recommended. There is easy parking at the property.
Other Things to Note:
Minimum stays: 7 nights between mid-December and mid-January, 3 nights on holiday weekends, and 2 nights at all other times.
This home operates on rainwater tanks, so conservative water use is appreciated.
