Enjoy a quiet family beach resort located on the North Carolina coast, just minutes from the South Carolina line. Our trademark is our pristine three-mile-long sandy beach; beautiful sunrises and sunsets (which can be seen from the island because of our unique southern exposure) and spectacular golfing. Other unique features of our community include Bird Island, a 2000+- acre nature preserve that borders the west end of Sunset Beach and can only be accessed by land via the beach.

This vacation home is at Sea Trail Resort, which is about as close as you can get to the beach yet have all of the amenities of a resort. Sea Trail boasts three signature golf courses (Rees Jones, Dan Maples and Willard Byrd) just about a mile from the beach. Sunset Beach's Ingram Planetarium, which provides educational and entertaining programs for both adults and children, is just down the road.

When you're ready for night life, bumper cars, and a bit of history, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Wilmington, NC, are just minutes away. And there are dozens of other areas of interest and local attractions nearby. Travel to these nearby areas and return to the luxury and quit of your own space.

Nice little getaway

This property was basically like a hotel room, and was just what we were looking for. Everything was as it said in the listing and close proximity to the beach. The only issue we had was really slow internet, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would rent again!

Great place to stay!

Greg and Donna are a class act. I have rented their properties several times before and they have always been professional, honest, timely in responding and thorough. And if there is something that needs to be addressed, they take action immediately. Plus, their properties are very nice--always clean, well maintained and kept up-to-date. They are my go to rental management team anytime I/we stay in Sunset Beach.

Convenient and clean

This mini-suite was perfect for our stay. Was able to prepare easy meals....purchased rotisserie chicken from convenient Food Lion and had steam fresh veggies, baked potatoes. Close to food stores and restaurants. Wish we would have had time to enjoy the beach....but this was a personal business trip. Greg was an excellent provider of directions and was always available for a quick question.

After vacationing here and traveling to many areas and beaches, we came to love the casual lifestyle and beach of Sunset. We purchased this home for future vacations and the dream of someday retiring here.

With the many golf courses, an uncrowded, pristine beach, and entertainment a short drive to North Myrtle or Myrtle Beach there is something for everyone. A fifteen minute drive to Calabash offers dolphin tours, a variety of dining experiences -- including fresh seafood and much more.
