This property is situated between Wanaka and Lake Hawea. Lake Hawea is 7 minutes drive while Wanaka is a 12 minutes drive. Both Lake Hawea and Lake Wanaka have stunning lakes for swimming and fishing. Within 5 minutes drive you will find amazing bike and walking tracks along the Hawea River, which can take you to both Lake Hawea and Wanaka.
This property makes a great base for athletes in training, bikers, walkers, but also for those looking for a base for holidays, or just a night stopover.

Cozy home in beautiful location

The check in and check out process was seamless, entering an amazing home which felt cozy, clean and comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed, and the hosts Sandie and Barry were easy to communicate with. From this place we could easily visit Wanaka and Lake Hawea.

The unit had everything we needed and was in a nice quiet location. We loved the floor heating in the bathroom. A short drive from Wanaka and the snow fields, it was perfectly suited for our stay and planned activities.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hawea. The house was as expected - clean, warm and had everything we needed for our short stay. We had car troubles upon checking out and the owners came out to help us to get the car going again. Very grateful! Thank you, would stay again.

Had an awesome stay for 3 nights. The place is tucked up a little ways out of Wanaka, but the outlook from the property is worth the extra distance! The rooms are quiet and tidy. There are lots of facilities if you need them. Highly recommend!

Peaceful getaway

Very relaxing, very quiet. All creature comforts. Very clean. The area is so peaceful, we loved our days. Gorgious fresh eggs from Sandie's chickens. Went on various walks in the area, Clutha River. Scones at Edgewater in Wanaka is a must. Took watertaxi to Mou Waho island and walked to top, magnificent.
