About this property

Wonderful lake and mountain views including views of Treble cone ski field. Open plan living with heat pump opening onto a deck. A large outdoor private spa pool Plenty of off street parking and room for boats and tents.
3-4 minute walk to lake or 10-15 minute walk to town. School age children welcome. Linen can be hired if arranged in advance. Beautiful lake walks. This is a simple bach, the power and water may need to be turned on when you arrive. We have a shower in the sleep out that offers instant hot water.
Bach instruction are sent the week of arrival.
The spa pool takes at least 12 hours to fill and heat, this is done by our guests we are not available to fill. A$20 charge per night for the spa. Minimum stay of 3 nights for visitors. Cleaning fee is $140 for the stay.
Linen can be hired separately Queen $45 p/w per package and Single $30 p/w
We have 3 double rooms and a bunk room. No more than 8 adults allowed to stay. (Only 2 adults per room)
Our bach is a very basic bach, no frills hence the cheap price to rent out. Fibre internet is now connected at the Bach.

Cosy and convenient!

Beautiful cosy bach! Not fancy, but everything you need, nice and warm with the air con and wood fire, 1 min drive to main Wanaka strip and a great view of Treble Cone ski field on a clear day from the deck!! Note that there's 2 double-bed bedrooms in the main building and 2 bedrooms in the seperate building - would be ideal for 2 families. :)

a real treat

6 friends staying for a sports event. We were welcomed each morning by stunning views, spent sultry evenings on the deck. Everything was provided, basic, simple and clean.

2 families have owned this bach since the 70's. Its a very special place for us all with amazing memories of jet boating, skiing, camping in the Wanaka area. The bach has been improved over the years i.e heat pump new deck but it is still a simple bach, we only put a TV in a few years ago, and we now have internet.
