Relax surrounded by endless sea, sky and green pastures with the odd passing train, ship, boat, bird or sheep and the world stretched out in front of you. This is a place to put your feet up, tune into nature and experience the best of what New Zealand has to offer.
Drift in the spa at night and feel part of the milky way. Look out from the spa during the day and feel part of the ocean. If fact, you will actually see the curve of the planet. In summary, we want to share what we feel is an unplifting, unique and special place and hope that you will feel the same.
Please note that I stay and manage the property from the self contained unit seen above the house in the third picture. I keep away from the main house and most guests will never see me as the unit faces away from the sea but I am available to help on request if you text me first.

We had a beautiful few days away at this stunning secluded spot. We planned to head into Dunedin during the day but once we arrived we didn’t want to leave the view. The ocean views from the spa are unbeatable, and the only neighbours we had were the birds and sheep. Thank you for such a wonderful stay - 5/5!
Absolutely stunning views! Gorgeous house, just like the photos. Loved the extras like the condiments, games, jigsaws etc! Kitchen was superb-everything we needed. One of the best places we’ve stayed in! Thanks so much Glenn!
Great stay. Fantastic views and comfortable accommodation. We explored Dunedin and the local area using on Glenn's recommendations. Pizza's from Karitane store were an added bonus!
Spectacular view and lots to do within a short distance. Star gazing from the hot tub, beautiful beaches, and a very gracious host. Would highly recommend.
My partner and I had three nights of incredible stargazing from the most perfectly placed hot-tub in Otago. all elements of the place were perfect - HIGHLY recommended

Absolutely loved our stay! The location is absolutely stunning — peaceful, scenic, and just an easy, stress-free drive to Dunedin. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed, and we honestly could’ve spent the whole day just soaking in the views and the atmosphere. The accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’ve already recommended it to friends and family, and we’ll definitely be back ourselves. A perfect escape if you're looking to unwind and enjoy a beautiful slice of New Zealand!"
A great place for couples to relax and enjoy the amazing views. The host is excellent to communicate with and very responsive to any requests. Close enough to Dunedin to enjoy but you feel like you are million miles away. Would gladly return.
We loved our time in Seacliff. Picturesque, peaceful recharge. Hot tub was delightful. We very much enjoyed visiting the penguins south of Dunedin at the Royal Albatross Centre on the Otago Peninsula.

I'm a middle age man with two wonderful grown up children. I've worked in educational roles in secondary and tertiary institutions and these days pick up random jobs that help me get by while still overseeing this place. I 'm a photographer, a sculptor, a designer, and am involved in a variety of sports and activities that get me out and about. I love the outdoors, enjoy meeting people and try to live a life that celebrates all the relationships we have with those special to us and with the natural world.
Why they chose this property
This property chose me. After spending 5 years in an earthquake damaged house, I walked onto this land and knew instantly that it was where I needed to be. I'm pleased that after 3 years I was able to use my limited skills to transform the dwelling, attract birds with tree plantings and provide a simple, warm, and attractive home to live in and share with others. A place nestled into the hills without fuss from where you feel a part of the natural world.
What makes this property unique
You will love the wildlife, beaches, diving, cycling, golf, world class surf and history in this area
