Relaxing cosy 1950's family beach house 1 block back from the beautiful beach.
The beach house is perfectly suited to families, wheelchair accessible and pet friendly with a fully fenced section a swing set and tree house in the back yard. Sit outside and listen to the waves crashing on the soft white sand a block away. Waikouaiti has a couple of taverns, Fish and Chip/ Chinese takeaway, cafe, bakery, petrol and dairy. A short drive down the road is another gorgeous beach of Karitane or wander a bit further to the Moeraki Boulders or historic town of Oamaru. Dunedin is 30min away.

Pets allowed with prior approval as long as you clean up after them.
Wheelchair accessible please enquire.
Supply own linen and towels, self catering.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you must: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels); remove all rubbish from the property. Leave it as you found it ready for the next guests.

Bedroom 3: two sets of bunks (sleeps 4) pillows, duvets, blankets supplied.

Why they chose this property
We purchased Fantail Folly after falling in love with the house, beach and area when we stayed there a couple of times with our family. It was hard to find pet friendly fully fenced accommodation and this ticks all the boxes.
What makes this property unique
Peaceful and relaxing beach house with amenities close by in the township of Waikouaiti. Snuggle by the fire in the winter or sit in the garden in the sunshine in the summer and watch the cheeky Fantails flying around.
