Whangamata Beach Cottage!!

Your home away from home, nestled on a great street close to all amenities, with a short walk to the supermarket, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, skate park and rugby field.

A fantastic place for all ages to enjoy with a flat section to park the boat and the kids to kick a ball around, outdoor fish filleting bench located at rear of property. Heat Pump to keep you toasty in the cooler months.

BBQ is available as well as outdoor dining on the covered deck - which is great year round.

We have wifi!!

Preferred tenants are families or couples.

Special conditions:
Bring your own bed sheets, pillow slips and towels. Charges apply for linen hire.

Extras:
Cleaning fee compulsory to ensure professional cleaning in between guests (Required, NZ$50.00 per stay); Linen (Optional, NZ$30.00 per stay/per person);

This was a clean and tidy cost bach in a quiet area of Whangamata. Close to shops and beach. Safe enclosure for our dog.

Relaxing Stay!

Lovely clean accommodation in a quiet spot. Conveniently located close to New World supermarket in one direction and town in the other. We loved it and would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Fantastic place to stay

Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. Really relaxing and close to everything. Wonderful to be able to take our springer spaniel with us too.

Great as usual!

Repeat customer here, this is our fourth time and it was amazing once again. Our furry babies were happy and safe in the fully fenced backyard, walks to the beach, shops and restaurants, lazing around on the new outdoor furniture. Waiting to hear to book for next year!

Quick getaway to find summer!

Lovely clean wee cottage with all the basics needed, especially comfy beds and air con. Very grateful to be able to have our dog in a safe section. We got 3 summer days out of 4 and loved jumping off the jetty, long walks on the beach, huge ice creams from the estuary dairy, and Netflix movie when it rained.Would definitely recommmend

This cottage was ideal for us and our small dog. Well appointed, great location in a quiet street and handy to shops, beach, etc., it was ideal for our winter break. Communication with the host was excellent.

Pet friendly. Great location.

Very easy place to stay as it’s walking distance to New World, shops, wharf and beach. This is our second time at the Bach. The covered outside patio is lovely to sit on too. Home from home feel. Our little doggie just loves it too.

Long weekend with Gibbie the dog

Gibbie loved Whangamata - the beach is amazing. We both loved the house, it was clean, comfortable and handy to everything yet still private and quiet. I definitely want to go back as soon as possible!

Wonderful get away in this cute batch

Had everything we needed for a home away from home stay. Was wonderful we could bring our dogs with us, and this was the reason we chose this property. Was a fab location close to New World and the town centre. Would recommend and would love to return again.

Great bach just a stones throw from town. Everything was as described. Phenomenal communication with the owner throughout. Absolute please to deal with. Great mini break out of the city to recharge.

Long Weekend Getaway

We arrived midday Friday. Check-in time is 2pm but Andrea gave us the thumbs-up for an early arrival (she also let us check-out after the standard 10am time the following Monday). We wee very appreciative of this as it allowed us to unpack the car and go into town for lunch, then a long walk on the beach with our dog.The property is everything you need and want for a beach holiday. Close to town, close to the beach and, also importantly, close to the excellent bakery, Oliver’s.The weather was perfect so we had dinner on the patio every evening. The house is clean, tidy and spacious. Couldn’t be better! Thanks very much Andrea!

Perfect kiwi holiday bach!

What a great spot! Lovely kiwi bach, superb location close to town and harbour, and super clean. Had all amenities, appreciated special things like coffee machine, heat pump, and excellent wifi. Thanks so much Andrea, and would love to return!

Great typical kiwi bach!

I have been going there every year for the last four years for our girls’ weekend away and every time we have a fantastic time. The dogs are happy with the fully fenced property, us girls are happy with beach, shops, cafés, restaurants and New World within walking distance. The traditional kiwi bach has a modern twist with comfort and amenities. Definitely recommend!

Our home away from home

3rd of 4th stay and we just love it. Perfect for us and best part is having our fur baby with us. He loves it and so great we don’t have to worry about him getting out. Whangamata Break

Microwave in cupboard on floor level at 73 years old had to get down on my hands and knees to operate. No TV reception DVD played but only in Black and white. And the cleaner needs to go to Spec Savers.Close to all amenities and comfortable Beds.
