Far North Beach Escape

Looking for a get-a-away in popular Ahipara, only a short drive from famous shipwreck bay with great surf and sand dunes to slide down! Cute 2-bed cottage at the end of cul-de-sac with large flat section has been a labour of love for us with gradual improvements and renovation being almost complete! Bring your bikes, boat, surf boards and enjoy beautiful 90-mile beach as your playground. Section borders reserve, overlooks creek and beach. Fantastic cafe and bar or fish and chips only a short walk away, as well as corner store for your grocery needs. Section is almost fully fenced, will consider requests for pets.

Extras: Linen (included); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave

This is the first time we have stayed at this type of accommodation in Ahipara. We have been staying at the Ahipara Camp ground for the past 25 years or so. Firstly thanks for allowing our dogs to stay at your place.The accommodation was GREAT! It was comfortable. We loved the view to the beach. The covered outdoor area was a winner. Enjoyed many coffees looking out to the ocean.A lovely restful place. Looking forward to revisiting in the future.

Fabulous beach views

Fabulous place to stay and amazing views over the wild horses to the beach. The owners have spent some time over summer improving the accommodations and it was a nice surprise to see how new and modern it all looks. Will stay here again when up in Ahipara.

Check in was simple and was even notified on the day we could check in early. The house was great, all we needed. Location was central and close to the beach and local dairy, four square and cafe.

The property in overall has a spacious, cosy set up. The middle room inside outside room is just fabulous. We were allowed to bring our two dogs which was fantastic. Communication with the property manager speedy and efficient. Nothing was too much. We unexpectedly received visitors. Just a message was enough to get it sorted. We absolutely recommend this beautiful place to anyone who likes a great joyful place to get away from daily life.

Prompt, easy communication with the host. The place was amazing, suited our family of 4 perfectly. The views were gorgeous, close access to the beach and a quick trip to Kaitaia township.
