Located in the village of historic Raetihi, only 12km from the Ohakune township, our property is away from the main road and railway line, making it a tranquil get away any time of year. The house is located close to both Turoa and Whakapapa ski fields with beautiful views of Mount Ruapehu from the house,

Wood burner in lounge and plenty of fire wood, Drying racks and hangers for ski gear plus a heat transfer system to all bedrooms, DVS system, Free view television, 2 TV's both with DVD players, media converter, a DVD library plus board & card games.
All beds have duvets, pillows, all queen beds have electric blankets with hot water bottles available for single beds. plus additional blankets and throws for all.
Porta cot & high chair on site.
Dining area, dishwasher, washing machine, full kitchen with all amenities and essentials including a nespresso machine and coffee plunger, crock pot and sandwich press.
Vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies and equipment.

limited wi-fi available and uninterupted cell reception for all major networks.

Guests are expected to clean the property before departure (cleaning supplies & equipment provided) and are responsible for removal of their rubbish and recycling, NOT to be left at property.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS - post stay cleaning $50.00. MUST be requested at time of booking. (Recycling / rubbish removal is NOT included in the cleaning charge)

more on the area - The local swimming pool, play grounds, "Angel Louise" cafe and shops, and the newly opened Dinosaur house, are all in Raetihi Village, only a small stroll from the house. The surrounding area offers many activities all year round, such as bike riding, fishing, river boat tours, & hiking and many more. Raetihi is also close to the Tongarero crossing track, National park, and the small towns of Waiouru, Taihepe and to Whanganui city, all great for a day trip.
