Very comfortable
House was comfortable and clean. Anything you might need was provided.
We would stay again.
Comfortable and clean. Quiet at end of cul-de-sac. We made a mistake by looking at the bedroom images when determining the combinations, so thought there were 2 rooms with queen beds not 1, but we had enough beds so it wasn't a problem really. Only negative is there is not even a drive into the property to get the car off the street in the curve of the cul-de-sac. But would stay there again, so again not a biggy.

May holiday.
Mostly fine the house was great, would have been good if it had been a bit better cleaned a lot of dust on skirtings and sweet wrappers around couch cushions, in drawers etc. No toilet cleaning soap or cloths wipes and when staying there there for 10 days felt this was needed. Also lockbox was at the back, good if this was expressed in info re bach also to enter from the back as front door could get damaged by trying to get in with wood there.

Thanks for your review Sylvie. Glad you enjoyed the house. We will be addressing these items with the cleaning staff to insure it done not happen again. Hope to see you here again in Mangawhai
This bach is a perfect place to stay. Quiet street, lovely neighbours, easy and close to shops, beach, pump track and play ground. Really nice layout of the house. We really enjoyed our stay. There is a great big sand sune to the left of the surf club for boogy boarding down. Heaps of fun!
We where really happy with it apart from the blinds In the kitchen and the curtains being very dirty in the bedrooms other than that can highly recommend this place and the beds where very comfy

50 Driftwood Place Review
The property was very clean and tidy and had personal notes from the owner. Check-in was fairly effortless and the reminder emails beforehand were helpful.Lovely thought to put a chocolate cake in the freezer for us however it was mouldy! A few things that made our stay less enjoyable: noisy neighbours, the springs on the couch were very worn, there was no wifi (these days it would be good to specifically point out if no wifi) and by stating the house was “pet-friendly” we assumed that meant some form of fencing of which there was none. Overall our stay was pleasant however we encourage that you please point out to future guests the things they won’t have so that they are prepared i.e wifi, fence, washing machine, dishwasher or extended water use.

Hi Sharne, thanks for your feedback. I don't think the chocolate cake was meant to be left for you sorry it was obviously left by the owners or a prior guest. We will pass the comments re worn springs onto the owners but it is an older bach and is priced accordingly. Unfortunately we don't have control over who is staying in neighbouring properties but it is usually a quiet cul-de-sac so may well have been people staying in other rentals. Regarding the wifi, all properties that have wifi it is clearly stated as one of the amenities and it is quite common for baches not to have it. Similarly with fencing, properties that are fenced it is stated in the listing and the photos clearly show there is no fencing. It is less common for baches in Mangawhai to be fenced but that doesn't make them unsuitable for pets. Unfortunately, if we were to state what properties don't have then where do we draw the line and the websites are set up to show what is available. We recommend that if there are things that are necessities for you, that you look at the amenities in the property listing, as these clearly state what a property has and we are more than happy to answer any queries. Thanks again Bach Stay Mangawhai
