Lovely retreat

Wonderful way to end our week in the north island Sat after check in watching and listening to the waterfall. A quiet time to have before a hectic following week.

Lovely overnight getaway

Wonderful secluded location with a view of the waterfall. The room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were extremely gracious and helpful and we felt very much at home. Perfect for an overnight getaway. We couldn’t have chosen better in Matakana.

A waterfall outside your window

Neat small appartement tacked on to a large shed but tastefully furnished inside with quality bathroom accessories. There is a lovely view from the large windows down to a very pretty waterfall. Very private but some traffic noise in the morning due to the property’s location close to a busy road.

Serene hideaway

Beautiful decor, serene and relaxing environment. Had a little mishap but was handled by Kim who was very kind and forgiving. Lots of interesting books there to read and Matakana itself is a wonderful place to shop and look around.
