Why they chose this property
Nubeena is a quaint, seaside town in the Tasman Peninsula, surrounded by stunning coastline, interesting geology, historical sites, and world renowned surf breaks. It's a haven for nature lovers, surfers, and hikers alike. Even for those who simply like to lounge on the beach - plenty of sheltered, white sand beaches around here! One of which is White Beach, a stunning bay with crystal clear waters just a 5 minute drive from your stay. Another sheltered beach perfect for relaxing is Newman's Beach, just 10 minutes from your stay. Fortescue Bay beach is a little further - 30 minute drive - but well worth it if you love snorkelling, kayaking, SUPing, interesting geology, and hiking. If you're looking for something a little more high energy, Eagle Hawk Neck beach is a 25 minute drive and often has surf. You can also find the Tessellated Pavements here, a unique rock structure made from thousands of years of wave erosion. Roaring Beach and Shipsterns Bluff are surf beaches for the experienced, with incredible breaks. It's worth going there just to watch the epic waves.
If you're an avid hiker, consider doing one of the Cape tracks - there's Cape Hauy (9.5km return), Cape Pillar (overnight), and Cape Raoul (14km return). They are all challenging, but well worth it for the breath taking views. There are a number of shorter walks with amazing geological oddities to gape at, including Devil's Kitchen, Remarkable Cave, and the Tasman Arch. Waterfall Bay is another user friendly walk with coastal views, and a waterfall at the end (depending on the amount of rain at the time).

What makes this property unique
From the property front door itself, you may enjoy walking along the foreshore of Parsons Bay in the early evenings, where you will find a war memorial, as well as a children's' playground and a skate park as you head towards the small Nubeena town centre.
