Overall enjoyable
When we came into the place it was exactly all we needed. Nothing too extravagant and has all the essentials. The location is a perfect balance between the beach/boardwalk and plenty of other cool spots to walk to! Nothing was too far! Overall the place was nice and the location was spectacular. The only issues I had was when it came to wifi and security. The WiFi wasn’t working and I emailed the host and then I was contacted by someone qualified to fix it but nothing ever came of it. They said they would send someone down but to my knowledge no one ever showed up. I wasn’t left a message of any follow up and the wifi was still down the rest of the trip. Obviously it wasn’t the hugest deal because we were on vacation anyway but it was slightly disappointing. Then I was under the impression that since we needed a code to get into the room that if we left the residence that the door would then automatically lock behind us…found out that isn’t the case. It only locks if someone stays inside the room and locks the door but if we wanted to completely step out of the residence altogether then the door was left unlocked. There were two keys hung up in the room so I then assumed that one of them must lock and unlock the door since the keypad lock didn’t work how I thought…and again no. Neither keys worked. We left our most important belongings locked in my car or hidden in the room because we had no way of keeping the room locked from the outside.
