The Space:
Enjoy the swooping sound of the majestic Kereru while you're sitting on the deck having your morning coffee looking out to the native bush surrounding you. You'll be amazed how peaceful and quiet it is.
The cottage offers double glazed joinery throughout keeping you warm and comfortable during your stay. The master bedroom is spacious, light and bright, has a large double wardrobe and a comfy super-king bed. If there are four coming to stay, the second bedroom has the lower bunk beds set up - one a single, the other a double.
Once the sun goes down, take the lid off the spa and enjoy the evening under the stars whilst soaking in the warmth of the bubbles.
You'll love the kitchen – there's a Miele oven, induction cooker, large fridge/freezer and the freshest water you will ever drink! Our tank is fed by a natural spring.
There's a heatpump in the living area to keep you warm on a winters night or cool on a summers day. A Samsung Smart TV with all the Freeview channels you need to keep up with what's happening in the world around you. Or just sit back on the couch with a glass of wine and log into your Netflix account to watch your favourite movie!
Want to go out for lunch? Head down the main driveway to the Waitakere Resort & Spa to dine at the restaurant. Open for lunch on Saturdays & Sundays between 12pm - 2pm. They even have High Tea available! Want to treat yourself and be pampered? Book a spa treatment at the Wairua Day Spa. Just make sure you book it ahead of time!
If you need some time out from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, look no further. THIS is the place to be.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire property. This is an adult only property.
There is a very steep and narrow driveway to access the property so extra wide vehicles will not make it down to the parking area. If this is the case, please park near the garage at the top of the driveway and make your way by foot.
Please note: The driveway (off the main paved driveway) is gravel so extra care must be taken at all times - particularly in the wet. Turning access is limited but achievable. Multiple cars on the property may have issues turning around. If there has been excess rain or you are not confident with the tight turning bay, we would advise parking at the top of the driveway near the garage.
The Neighborhood:
Less than 30ks from the CBD you can discover the dramatic west coast for an escape to remember. Beautiful Piha and wildly attractive Bethels are only 20 minutes away and the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park is on your doorstep. Titirangi village is great place to explore with art and delicious food to tempt you. Or treat yourself to an award-winning café and restaurant – Elevation Brasserie, just 3 minutes down the road.
Other Things to Note:
- No parties allowed.
- This is a smoke free property.
- CHECK OUT: Check-out is at 10 am. If you have not vacated the property by this time and our cleaners are delayed you will be charged a fee of $100 + GST for every half hour you remain in the property.
- NO VISITORS: This means only the exact guests booked to stay can be at the property at any time. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in immediate removal from the property, and all associated costs will be charged to you. If you wish to have guests visit while you are at the property please contact us before your booking so we can provide case-by-case approval.s.
- ADDITIONAL CLEANING: If you are booking for longer than two weeks, the owner requires a clean at least every two-week period. We will send this amended cleaning charge once we receive your booking.
- QUIET HOURS: Please be considerate of our neighbours - no loud noises between 8pm - 7am. Neighbours can call a hotline regarding excessive noise. If the property managers must attend due to excessive noise there is a $250 + GST fee.
- MISSING KEYS: If you lose a key / swipe card a replacement fee of $100 + GST will be charged.
- LOCKOUTS: If you lock yourself out of the property and a property manager has to attend to provide additional keys there will be a call out fee of $250 + GST charged.
- PETS: Approved on a case-by-case basis.
