We’re a local Auckland family who love creating beautiful spaces where people can relax and spend quality time together. Riverview Homestead has been thoughtfully renovated to feel like a peaceful country retreat while still being close to the city. We enjoy travelling ourselves and understand how important it is for a place to feel comfortable, welcoming and well equipped. Our goal is for guests to arrive, unwind and truly enjoy their time away.
Why they chose this property
We love this area because it offers the perfect balance of countryside tranquillity and convenience. Riverview feels peaceful and private, yet it’s only about 25 minutes from central Auckland. The surrounding area has so much to explore, from Riverhead Forest walking and cycling trails to fantastic local spots like Riverhead Tavern, Hallertau Brewery and the wineries of Kumeu. The west coast beaches are also within easy reach, making it a great base for both relaxing and exploring.

Riverview Homestead is set on over a hectare of private grounds, which gives guests space, privacy and a true sense of escape. The home has been beautifully renovated and comfortably sleeps up to eight guests with multiple living areas inside and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Guests love the private swimming pool, six-seater spa and expansive lawns, which make it perfect for weekend escapes, family gatherings and special occasions.
