We loved our four days on Waiheke Island. This property had stunning views and easy work into Oneroa, and was perfect for our group of 7.Two of the rooms were quite small, but perfectly adequate. The drive was, however very steep, and after trying it once, we parked on the road!We would stay again. The property managers were fantastic.
House was in such an easy to get to location, and no road noise which is always awesome when you're that close to town and the beach. The place was super clean, including the hot tub. You can walk to town and the beaches and hop on off off vineyard tours etc. Great selection of shops and restaurants in town. The deck is awesome which had a working bbq. Easy check in and check out. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. The yard was great with tropical fruit trees, and the real treat was the sweetest neighbor dog Pipi came by one day briefly for some yard hellos. One downside: I am a bit uppity when it comes to bed quality, so they could definitely be upgraded a bit. The bedding on all beds were all nice and attractive though. Just some obvious spring mattresses. I'd stay here again so the mattress wasn't a complete deal breaker but always icing on the cake when they are nice quality. The house is on the market so it may not be available next time I find myself in Waiheke. There was no impact to our stay with it being on the market, just likely made it that much nicer for our visit. Last side note: Driveway is a bit steep if you rented a car.
