Sean is a very attentive and knowledgeable host. We are a group of old friends up north for a long weekend of fall hiking, reconnecting and telling stores. Sean's cottage was perfect for our group of six. The kitchen is modern and had everything we needed to make our amazing meals. The cottage is very clean and welcoming. After a day of hiking we found ourselves in the hot tub, looking at the stars.

Amazing property on Kawagama Lake. We had everything we needed! Cottage was perfect! Clean, air conditioned and great WiFi . We will be back! Highly recommended The Bay is quiet and protected, perfect for swimming and fishing. Quick access to the marina for gas, coffee and ice cream! The lake is huge, so much to explore. Kids found a few cliff jumping spots and great swimming.

Great stay at a beautiful place and we will for sure return. Cozy cottage with very cute design elements and upgrades including AC, a hot tub, and dedicated wifi down at the dock. The lake cannot be beat, best swimming in Dorset. Host was extremely responsive to questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy. Our 5 year old had lots of fun learning how music “used to be played” on the vinyl, CD, and cassette collection with accompanying record/tape/CD player; and we enjoyed the great selection of books and board games on rainy days. Kitchen had everything we needed, including sauces and spices which is always a nice touch. Beds are super comfy. We will be back!

We enjoy the magic and legendary appeal of Muskoka, as well as the breathtaking views, hiking trails, fishing, and wildlife of the Algonquin Highlands!

Our cottage overlooks beautiful Kawagama Lake. Enjoy your morning coffee on the upper deck then head down to the dock and soak-in the wood-fired hot tub after a refreshing dip in the lake. Fish for trophy Lake Trout, hike through Algonquin Park, or simply relax with family in our fully renovated, air-conditioned cottage. Getaway Bay is the ideal family vacation rental!
