Level entry to the very nicely decorated cabin. Well stocked kitchen. The hosts were kind and happy to offer their help of we needed it. There is a level lawn with a table and chairs. Lots of room for parking.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is centrally located between Trail and Nelson. We hike in all 3 areas. Carey is a wonderful person who welcomes you to the cottage. I will definitely stay here again.

There for work

It was nice to get off of 13 hour work days and be able to relax in a home rather than a hotel room. Owned was very communicative.

I was born in Nelson BC raised in the Slocan Valley we moved to Castlegar 8 years ago to our beautiful 1 acre property that had 2 houses on it over the last 6 years we have done extensive renovation to the 109 year old cottage that is now the Blissful Bear BNB. I have worked as a hair stylist for many years. Owned my own Catering company, I love cooking and baking. Another of my hobbies is singing .

Why they chose this property

We chose this part of Castlegar because of the property size and it is very central to all of what Castlegar has to offer. Swimming pool, ice skating rink, restaurants, and grocery stores. We are also only 20 minutes to Trail & 25 minutes to Rossland and red mountain ski hill.

What makes this property unique

The Blissful Bear BNB sits on one acre lot right in Castlegar it has a fully fenced yard, lots of parking the yard is very pretty and private in the summer when all the shrubs are all in full bloom.
