Peaceful Ruapehu retreat
The house has an open plan living with a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 1 playroom/ spare bedroom upstairs, and a spacious outdoor living/ garden area with beautiful vistas on the mountain and native forest.
It is set up to accommodate kids. You will find a sand pit, and a slide outside, as well as some kids toys inside (puzzles, Duplo Lego, Thomas the tank engine train set...etc).
The property is only 5 minutes drive away from Ohakune, where you will find a supermarket, restaurants, cafes and shops, including bike and ski rentals and climbing wall.
This place has got lots to offer, summer and winter.
We have got Tongariro National Park on our doorstep with a multitude of hiking and mountain biking trails, including the famous Tongariro alpine crossing.
Turoa ski field is only 30 minutes up the road.
House set up:
- Bedroom 1 downstairs: Queen size bed
- Bedroom 2 downstairs: kids room, 1 single Thomas the tank engine bed
- Bedroom 3 upstairs: Super king size bed
- Spare room / playroom upstairs : 1 single bed + 1 spare single mattress that can be set up in the upstairs playroom/ spare room.
LINEN:
If you can, please **bring your own linen** (towels/sheets/tea towels). Duvets and duvet covers are provided, as well as extra duvets and blankets.
If you require linen, there will be a charge of $20 per bed. (this include sheets and towels)
