Relaxing time
While we were rained in the majority of our stay, when the sun came out we enjoyed kayaking, sitting by the water and fire pit. The place is nice, but the water is very low right now so we went to the boat ramp down the road to fish and enjoyed it. Overall, the property is nice and the view is amazing!

Hi Crystal, thanks for your honest review. So sorry about the weather and the low water—two things out of our control! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you come back.
We loved the house! It was perfect for our party of 5. The kitchen was well stocked the living and dining room was just the right size. Bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfy. The property was absolutely beautiful with plenty of room to hang out on the porch, deck, and by the fire pit. The family specially enjoyed the kayaking and fishing.

Liked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Our stay started off extremely rocky. We followed the instructions of sending the primary contact our names and the make and model of our vehicle so they could forward it to the entry guard of the neighborhood. We never received communication back to confirm that the information was received. Upon arrival at the entry gate of the neighborhood for the rental, the woman working let us know that she did not have us down as being authorized to enter. We called the host (Michael) who had not even known about us renting the property. After some searching, Michael was able to find our trip and we were able to enter into the neighborhood. Upon arriving to the property, we couldn’t enter the house because our code wasn’t entered into the keypad due to lack of preparedness by the host. Thankfully the house was clean and somewhat accurately represented by the pictures. The bedroom with the king bed no longer had a tv, which was shown in the listing pictures which wasn’t a huge deal. After unpacking and settling in, we realized the AC wasn’t working. We contacted Michael again with no response. He contacted us mid day the following day explaining the lack of communication which at that point had seemed like an ill excuse for our stay. He had an AC repair company come out and they were there for over an hour the first time going in and out then had to come back to finish repair. All in all we understand some things are beyond the hosts control such as the AC. Poor communication isn’t one.

Thank you for your feedback. Your review took us by surprise, as during our conversations at the property, it seemed everything had been addressed. Your stay was booked the same day, and we did not see the email until you arrived at the gate. The subdivision is strict, so calling us was the right step, and we’re glad we could quickly resolve access. The house code was entered while you were en route, though we understand the delay was frustrating and apologize.
We understand the AC issue was disruptive and appreciate your patience while it was repaired. We are now replacing the unit to prevent this from happening again. We’re glad the home was clean and mostly as expected, and we will be updating photos. We take pride in being responsive, and while your concerns didn’t seem apparent during your stay, we do take your feedback seriously.
