Our stay in this Salida retreat property was absolutely delightful! We loved the house, well equipped kitchen, the amazing views and even the deer visiting the yard in the morning hours. The house was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. We would definitely like to be back!

Wish there were more stars to give. This property truly exceeded expectations on every level. Beautiful and intentional from a design standpoint alone, felt luxury and like home all at once. Excellently outfitted kitchen (seriously the best I've ever experienced), comfy clean beds pillows and linens, crispy towels, hot hot water and good shower pressure, and the scenery - my goodness. Started every morning outside with coffee and a morning meditation staring at those mountains. A true escape. AND only 7 minutes to beautiful downtown Salida. We LOVED our stay. (Group of 5 gals for a 40th bday weekend - enough space for us to have our own comfy sleeping spaces and enough bathrooms ;) THANK YOU!!! Would 1,000% book here again and be excited to do so.

Very nice brand new build with a wonderful kitchen and great room with a view. Peaceful pasture and farmland with lots of wildlife to watch. The river nearby is wonderful. A few details are still coming together like window coverings waiting to be installed. We loved the place (and Salida) and hope to be back in it next year.

Our stay here was pretty much perfect any way you look at it. The location is fantastic with a wonderful view from the back porch. The house is in excellent condition, and I was especially pleased to have sharp kitchen knives which might be a first in a rental! The beds were comfortable, and the place was super clean. The property manager was prompt and helpful. One of very few times I could rate a place of 10 out of 10.

This was a very well-equipped house, especially the kitchen. The communication was a bit less than ideal. We had asked what kind of coffee maker so we could be sure we had coffee &/or filters ready for our first morning. We were told only "drip". Actually, there was a drip pot that had a gold filter, but there were also 3 French press pots (3 different sizes), as well as a coffee grinder. There was also a Le Creuset pot and an InstaPot (absolutely necessary for cooking rice, beans, etc. at high altitude.)We wish the instruction booklet had talked about the Reverse Osmosis water. It was at least a day before we figured out that the small stream from the middle of the faucet was the RO water. Also, while we love this area (we lived just up the road for 6 years), and will probably return in the summer, this house needs window blinds. It currently has window coverings only in the bedrooms. It got very warm during the day (in winter) and we had to open windows. I can't imagine how hot it would get in the summer. We did not have AC in our house when we lived in Salida and were able to keep it comfortable all summer by simply closing the windows and window blinds on the East in the morning and the S & W in the evening. Hopefully they will add blinds on the rest of the windows before summer. Other than that, beautiful, well-equipped house in a delightful area.
