Quiet and peaceful retreat

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable bungalow with a magical backyard. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. The plants and flowers were beautiful. Host Jan was very generous throughout our communications.

Very cute and cozy house. Had everything we needed for our stay. The backyard was so nice, I called it the secret garden and had my coffee out there every morning. Very nice host. My two friends and I had a very nice weekend. The only thing to look out for is the mosquitos however this is just a Florida problem and no fault to the rental property.

The neighborhood is quiet with a walking trail. There was seating enough for 5 people as well as enough dishes and flatware. The kitchen sink and d/w are efficiency size. The w/d are full size. The beds were fine with both microfiber and cotton sheet sets. The bathroom had ample bath towels but was short on washcloths, which the contact remedied. The daybed/trundle are in the Florida Room which has a wall a/c and an electric oil heater. The windows have blinds and the glass doors have translucent film and do not have curtains, and I recommend to the host to add curtains for more privacy at night. 4 stars after a mutually agreeable resolution to the problems we encountered. The problems were: loose dirt and dog hair on both the couch and daybed. Dog hair and debris/crumbs in the kitchen drawers, the keurig, the coffee maker, behind the small appliances on the counter, in the water cooler tray, in front of the w/d, heavy dog hair on all the rugs, and noticeably stained coverlets and sofa. There was significant dog poop in the backyard. While these problems were eventually resolved with the host, the original cleanliness level was inadequate and negatively affected our stay. Hopefully the host deep cleans and shampoos the home. The original artwork and pottery are lovely, and thus I recommend this stay for families with children over 9. Evolve communication is lackluster.
