Wonderful family property with beautiful grounds. Our host was accommodating and very accessible if we needed anything. Litchfield county is a special place to visit. We will remember this vacation for a very long time. Thank you for having us!

Everything about this listing was spot-on accurate. The big plus is that Steve—the owner and host— excelled in his communication from initial booking and throughout our stay as well as his speedy response time to our requests once we were in the home. The house is perfect for a big group with its many bedrooms and two stairways, one for each upstairs wing. The large kitchen with its endless storage, built-in refrigerator and additional built-in freezer can easily accommodate many hands helping with cooking and prepping. There are two spacious areas for dining; two large dens plus a smaller one for relaxing; a spacious master bathroom with oversized tub; a massive walk-through closet with its own alcove sleeping area. I lost count of the bathrooms; there are at least three full ones and multiple half baths. The largest of the bedrooms has stunning views and also comes with a bonus: a crib. This picture perfect East Coast home boasts an outdoors area that invites wandering up the woods-lined road as well as relaxing on the patio. The perfect final touches were a downstairs bedroom for guests who are unable to use stairs and the wide arcing swing underneath a splendid tree in the front. While our November visit was not conducive to swimming, summer visitors will appreciate cooling down in it and hanging out on the large nearby patio. We appreciated everything about this home: its beauty, privacy, luxuriously comfortable feel, and stellar host. Thank you, Steve.
