The space

Omega Schoolhouse is a beautifully restored heritage home, originally built in 1860 and thoughtfully reimagined with a striking contemporary addition. Nestled in a secluded pocket of Gerringong on the NSW South Coast, this reatreat offers a peaceful country escape with panoramic 270-degree views across the surrounding dairy farms, the township and Werri Beach.

Designed for families and groups, the house features two expansive outdoor decks - perfect for sunset drinks - alongside an outdoor fireplace and a bocce court. With generous indoor and outdoor living spaces, ample parking, and premium amenities, this home blends timeless character with modern comfort for an unforgettable stay.

Omega Schoolhouse offers two distinct and generous living spaces, thoughtfully designed for comfort, connection, and style.

The Schoolroom is a vast, speakeasy-style lounge and bar housed in the original 1860s classroom. With its velvet sofas, crackling open fireplace, and walls lined with an extensive library, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Challenge friends to a game of pool or choose from a curated selection of board games for a cosy night in.

The contemporary living area seamlessly blends luxury and functionality. At its heart is a spacious, modern kitchen with a large island bench—ideal for gathering family and friends while preparing meals. Equipped with premium appliances including a Smeg gas cooktop, large oven, and coffee machine, the kitchen flows into a formal dining space that comfortably seats ten, and an inviting lounge area with a TV.

Step outside onto the expansive balcony, where a state-of-the-art outdoor BBQ and outdoor sitting area take full advantage of the breathtaking 270-degree views. The contemporary living area is fitted with reverse-cycle air conditioning, ensuring comfort year-round—whether you’re entertaining indoors or stepping out to soak in the scenery.
