The bathroom and separate toilet are at the back of the house, with a washing machine available for guest use – shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, and toilet paper are provided.
Kindly note that this home does not have Wi-Fi. We encourage you to unplug, be present, and enjoy a classic beachside getaway filled with old-fashioned games and quality time with friends and family.

Why they chose this property
The charming suburb of Coningham is known for its tranquillity and proximity to the charming Coningham Beach. The beach itself is moments away on foot from your stay – you can expect to find pristine white sand, sheltered turquoise waters, charming beach huts, and rock pools to explore. It’s ideal for swimming, all year round!
The local township is the charming Snug, where you can find most essential services, as well as vintage op shops and the Snug Falls bushwalk. I recommend you visit after some rainfall, or you might be disappointed at the lack of water!
You can drive north up to Margate, where you’ll discover the Margate Train, an old converted steam train made into gift shops and a pancake house. Well worth a stop, especially if you’re travelling with kids. Further norther will bring you to the bustling suburbs of Blackmans bay, Kingston, and eventually Hobart CBD.
Driving due south from Snug, you will reach Kettering, the gateway to Bruny Island via the ferry. Kettering itself is abundant in trendy eateries, cafes, a chocolate shop, and local distilleries.
Continue onto Woodbridge but blink and you will miss it! Better stop in at Peppermint Bay Hotel, an award winning and architecturally pleasing pub/bistro with panaramic views of Bruny Island and D’entrecasteuax Channel. The Tasmanian beers, wines, and freshly baked local food is worth a long visit.
If you have time, continue on to quirky Cygnet along the old winding coast road. Here you will find a plethora of lovely people, potters, painters, musicians, writers and photographers indulging in wholesome eateries like Red Velvet Lounge and The Port Hole Cafe.
If you’ve had enough fun for the day, head home through Woodstock and Huonville, considered by the locals to be the best country town in Tasmania.
If you continue driving south of Huonville, you will enter Tassie’s incredible deep south, full of snowy mountain peaks, age-old caves, hot springs, turquoise waters, and quirky towns.
