's it. Just WOW! As if the view weren't reason enough to stay, step inside and the reasons to be there "On the Rocks" are adding up fast! Sitting high on mountainside this home offers lots of well-thought-out extras. Plan to prepare a meal or two in the recently renovated “fit for a chef” kitchen. There is plenty of entertainment with multiple TV’s and WIFI.! Pack a book or bring along a movie to enjoy an evening nestled by the fireplace. There are so many reasons to be inside, yet so many more to take it outside. Out the front door it’s a short walk to Dolly Sods. Out the back door and WOW, the view, the hot tub, the dining area…you are going to love it right there On the Rocks! Winter visits will DEFINITELY require 4-wheel drive vehicles. No exceptions!

Get away to a quiet haven!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great views and large space ! Place was well kept.Great when you want to clear your mind and be in a quiet place! Top and bottom floors were huge. Jacuzzi was great! The only thing that was not working was the dishwasher. The last day we were there we tried to use it but it was not working. All dishes had to be washed by hand. Other than that everything was great 👍. I would recommend it to anyone looking to wind down and hang out away from the city life.

Spring break trip

We had a wonderful stay with our kids, and 2 other groups of friends and their kids. The house set up was perfect for 3 families with kids, and was spotless when we arrived. The views were amazing, and we were able to watch 3 beautiful sunsets from the living room and deck during our stay. We loved that the house was also in close proximity to several hiking locations. It did seem like we picked an off time to visit with many stores or restuarants being closed, but still had a great time. Already looking to book another stay at On The Rocks!

Amazing WV Mountain Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On the Rocks was a beatufiul home with amazing views, and plenty of room for 13 people (adults+kids). Kids were able to play games and watch movies downstairs, while adults made food, or just relaxed and took in the view upstairs. With this many people - the 4 bathrooms and 4 showers was a great amenity for getting everyone out the door. The home was very clean, firewood stocked, plenty of cleaning supplies, LOTS of storage for snacks, food, and even a cute beverage room. 2 sets of washer/dryers allowed us to easily clean towels or snow clothes to use the next day. Would definitely rent this house again - and recommend it to people with larger groups! Very Cozy, clean and relaxing.

Lovely home for a ski weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year staying in this home. It’s perfect for three families with two kids each, and the hot tub was a great bonus. We did need four wheel drives as it was a very snowy weekend.
