With an open concept living space, this spacious home offers the perfect remote getaway whether you're looking to work remotely or gather with family and friends for a vacation getaway.

The home's many great features allow you to unwind and enjoy the serene lakefront setting. Soak in the hot tub, play games in the recreational room, or roast marshmallows around the fire pit by the lake's edge. The private dock provides front-row seats to spectacular sunsets on the water.

With three cozy bedrooms and three updated bathrooms! The open concept family room features a large kitchen, dining area, and living room with stunning views of the tranquil lake from every window. Just beyond the glass doors, you'll find plenty of deck and yard space for outdoor activities. Relax in nature's beauty - book this lakeside cottage today for your next getaway!

Location
The location is an easy drive to/from Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Asheville, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Day trips to the NC mountains, college visits, or shopping are convenient.

Quaint downtown Granite Falls is only 11 minutes away, where you can enjoy ice cream, coffee shop, and restaurants. Convenience store is 4 minutes away and Walmart is 8 minutes away.

House
Our open concept lake house is ready for your comfort and entertainment. All TVs are smart TVs for music and streaming channels. We provide a Netflix login. If you have Hulu, Vudu, YouTube, Amazon, etc., you can use your login on any TVs. Key code will be provided for convenient access. Wi-Fi available. Check-in is 4pm - 10pm and check out is 11am.

Main Level
The main level has 1 bedroom with a king bed, 1 full bathroom, open area living, dining, fully equipped kitchen, and deck with lake view, propane grill, and additional dining seating and gathering area.

Top Level
The top level includes a bedroom with 1 queen bed, 2 twins (trundle bed), and a bathroom with a shower.

Lower Level
The lower level includes a bedroom with 1 queen bed, 2 twins (bunk bed), full bathroom, washer/dryer, and large gathering / game room with 50" smart TV, pool table, foosball table, darts, and board games. Walk out the lower level to the lake side of the home where there is a hot tub and fire pit.

Dock
Our boat may be lifted in the dock. Our boat and lift are not included with the rental, however you are welcome to bring your boat or rent one from the local marinas. There is plenty of space to tie up at the dock.

The dock offers plenty of shade and afternoon sun for your choosing.

Like many lake properties, the walk to the lake is moderately steep. Some guests may opt to pick up grandma or grandpa at the Lovelady Access Area (boat ramp) 4 minutes away. We can offer more information if requested.

Video Security
We utilize a Ring doorbell which has motion activated video feed and audio call capability.

The house was very clean. We really enjoyed the lakefront location and had lots of fun playing pool, darts and foosball at night. We had a great time making s’mores by the fire pit one evening as well. Ron was an excellent host with great communication.

A well designed house. Very clean and perfect for a lake vacation. 3 full baths made life easy Great deck with a good lake view. The dock served us well as we had a pontoon and a jet ski. Good communications with owner. Would definitely stay here again.

Military Getaway

We were there on orders to help with the hurricane relief, but I've been wanting to move up north for sometime now. Great property- great value!

My son and a handful of friends came to stay the weekend with me. Great sleeping arrangements to keep boys and girls separate and everyone was comfortable. Awesome view of lake! Fun with hottub, pool table, darts, foosball table, and large table to play cards and eat at as a group! Great value! Would stay again, and highly recommend.

Family Vacation

This place was great for our family vacation. 6 Adults and 2 kids under 2. Very clean. The living space is what makes this place perfect. The non master bedrooms are kind of tight but worked just fine for us. Location is solid as its close to highway 321.Owner is very responsive too! Would recommend.

Coming home

We all loved staying at Ron's beautiful Lakehouse. I grew up in Hickory playing on the lake. Ron's hospitality, playing around in the floats and our kayaks - everything about our stay felt like "coming home." All of us loved the game room too! We got to spend some nice family time with my Mom who lives in Hickory, and eat at HOMERS! We hope to stay here again! So thankful that my family got to experience the easy-going feel of a weekend at the Lake, as well as all of the fun and excitement of staying in the lake all day...some of the things that I love about getting to grow up in this area. Thanks, Ron!!

Fall Break Heaven!

We spent the weekend at this beautifully furnished and comfortable lake house with our college kids on their fall break. What a relaxing way to unwind with a gorgeous view of the lake! The house is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants which was so nice to go out with our family and then come home to a place that felt like we were miles from anything! We enjoyed the game room and the hot tub, and watched college football as well! We were lucky enough to also be in Hickory for the annual Oktoberfest and enjoyed the afternoon wandering around the historic downtown. The owner was responsive and gave us plenty of recommendations prior to our visit. One of my favorite lake vacations yet!

Family Get-Away

The house was perfect for my family. The only complaints that I have are the chairs on the deck were dirty and old. It rained overnight and we had no storage to put the cushions so they stayed wet. Also, I couldn't locate any check-out instructions so we just left the sheets on the beds, took out the trash and loaded and started the dishwasher. When we arrived the dishes in the dishwasher were dirty. Good location and good view.
