The instructions for the TV were inadequate and did not enable us to watch any program. There was a pamphlet with the TV that described how to instal it but there were no operating instructions. I spent two evenings trying to get it to work. We have owned a smart TV for more than 5 years so are familiar with their operation.There were no instructions for the washing machine and we could not get it to do a hot wash. Thanks for getting the laundry power to us when we requested it.The coffee machine did not have any coffee capsules. The ones supplied when we communicated about this were the wrong type and could not be used.The hinges on the gate would not let the gate swing freely and it had to be lifted and pushed to be opened and closed. The screws holding the top hinge were loose and coming out, the bottom hinge has a broken hinge pin.The tea towels supplied were very old, had holes and were stained. They looked like they had been used as cleaning rags.The dish washer detergent tablets did not fully dissolve. There were no operating instructions for the dishwasher.Distressingly there was a high-pitched whining noise that came through the small bedroom wall. One of us ended up sleeping on the floor in the lounge when it was louder on the 6th night and slept on the couch for the seventh night.We will not be renting this houst again.Otherwise it is a well laid out house and we loved the Leonard Cohen image in the lounge.
