About this property
Stay Wild | Goats + Big Views
Summary:
A 3-bed, 3-bath family-size hideout with jaw-dropping views, a cheeky crew of backyard goats, and a location that puts you perfectly between the beach, Mount Tamborine weddings, and Gold Coast theme parks. Oh, and yes - the entire lower level is yours. You’ll have the entire lower level of this house – a private 3-bedroom space with its own entrance. The owner lives quietly upstairs and respects your privacy, but is available if needed.
The Space:
You’ve just stumbled on that unicorn stay: the one with the views, the space, the goats (yep, goats), and the location that has everything within easy reach - from beaches to rollercoasters to rainforest vows.
This isn’t a share house or a bunk-in-the-corner situation. You’ve got the entire lower level of a gorgeous hinterland home, with your own private entry and all the comforts you didn’t even know you needed. The lovely owner lives quietly upstairs, but you shouldn’t hear a peep - unless it's a goat bleating hello.
The Space:
3 Bedrooms | 3 Bathrooms
1 King bedroom with ensuite
1 queen bedroom with ensuite – no sharing required
1 bedroom with a double + single – kids, cousins, or tag-alongs welcome
That Bath You’ll Tell Everyone About!
This isn’t just a bathroom - it’s a vibe. A clawfoot tub planted right in front of a floor-to-ceiling window, with hinterland views so good they practically beg for a glass of wine and a "Do Not Disturb" sign. Forget the spa day - you are the spa day. Oh, and yes, there's a shower too… if you must.
A Kitchen That Gets It
Breakfast on the balcony, picnic prep for your Tamborine wedding, or a spaghetti night with the kids – this kitchen’s got you covered. And yes, there’s a proper dining table that seats 8.
Where the Views Are Big and the Couch Gets You
This isn’t just a lounge. It’s a whole mood.
Floor-to-ceiling glass lets the hinterland roll in like a screensaver you wish your life looked like. The plush sofa? It practically whispers, cancel your plans. And that giant Smart TV? Yeah, it’s been waiting for your "just one episode" lie.
Desk
There's a desk, too - tucked neatly up one end for anyone trying to convince their boss they’re “working remotely.”
Billiard table
Sibling rivalry or grown-up competitiveness brewing? Send 'em to the billiard table. You’ve got wine to sip and not a single reason to move.
Backyard With Benefits (Aka Goats)
Out back, you’ll meet the real stars of the show: a gang of fenced-in goats with charm to spare. They’re friendly, funny, and totally up for a photoshoot.
Midway Magic
This place hits the Gold Coast sweet spot:
Beaches? (25 mins)
Theme parks? (20 mins)
Mount Tamborine weddings? (30 mins)
No matter your itinerary - adrenaline, nature, nuptials or naps - you’ll love coming home here.
Whether you're chasing thrills, chills, or just a change of scene with a goat or two in the background - this hinterland haven is your launchpad for unforgettable days and blissfully quiet nights.
Come stay. Your next story starts here.
The Neighbourhood:
Neighbourhood Vibes: The Best of All Worlds
Welcome to Upper Coomera - where you’re not just close to the action, you’re perfectly wedged between all of it.
Got kids with theme park tunnel vision? Dreamworld, Movie World and Wet'n'Wild are just a quick 20-minute drive away. You’ll be back before the ice creams melt.
More of a barefoot-on-dirt-trails family? Mount Tamborine’s wineries, waterfalls, and wedding bells are just up the hill - think rainforest walks, boutique shops, local markets, and very sippable cellar doors. Ideal if you’re here for a ceremony or just need to disappear into nature with a good flat white.
Need a beach fix? Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast strip are 25–30 minutes down the road - but here’s the secret sauce: you get to escape the noise and retreat back to peace and quiet when the sun sets.
Want more? Of course you do.
- Stock up on snacks or forgotten swimmers at Coomera Westfield
- Hit the local cafes and bakeries for excellent coffee and even better people-watching
- Check out Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk if you like your nature with a little drama
- Pack a picnic and take the kids to Bim’bimba Park - it’s like a playground on caffeine
- This spot’s for families who want options, wedding guests who want a proper base camp, and travellers who want to be surrounded by beauty without having to commit to just one kind of holiday.
Because why choose coast or country when you can have both - and goats?
Getting Around:
You’ll need a car to make the most of this spot - it’s part of the charm. Everything worth seeing (beaches, theme parks, wineries) is an easy drive away. No traffic noise, no crowds, just peaceful hinterland vibes.
Guest Access:
Guests will have the whole lower floor apartment to themselves with their own entrance. Entry is via a shared foyer. The laundry is in the foyer and is for your private use, and the space may occasionally be accessed by the owner to access the 'pump' room if necessary.
The Neighborhood:
Our place is located in a family-friendly suburb that blends convenience with lifestyle. The area is known for its quiet residential streets, local parks, and community feel, while still being close to shopping, schools, and transport. Westfield Coomera and Coomera Train Station are nearby, making it easy to access both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Theme parks like Dreamworld, Movie World, and Wet’n’Wild are just minutes away, and nature lovers can enjoy Tamborine Mountain’s rainforests and wineries within a short drive. With beaches, hinterland, and entertainment all close by, it’s a great base for both relaxation and adventure.
Getting Around:
From our place, everything you need is close by. Westfield Coomera (7 minutes) offers shops, dining, and entertainment, while Coomera Train Station (10 minutes) makes travel to Brisbane and the Gold Coast simple. Family fun is right around the corner with Dreamworld (10 minutes), Movie World and Wet’n’Wild (15 minutes). For nature, Tamborine Mountain is about 25 minutes away with stunning lookouts, wineries, and rainforest walks. The Gold Coast’s famous beaches, including Surfers Paradise, are only a 30-minute drive, while Brisbane is just under an hour to the north.
Other Things to Note:
*** Please note Upper Coomera will have a planned power outage on 30/7/25 between 8 am and 4pm ( weather permitting).
- Parking for 2 or more vehicles. Please let us know if you need parking for more than 2 vehicles.
- Linen provided – All bed and bath linen is included, so no need to pack the sheets.
- No parties or events – This is a peaceful getaway, not a party pad.
- Pets welcome on approval (pet fee per pet applies per stay) – Please let me know a bit about your pet so that we can accept them. We just ask that you keep them off all furniture (yep, that includes beds and couches), and ensure they don’t harass the goats.
- Unfenced acreage – The property sits on open land, so please keep an eye on little ones.
- Goats out back – You’ll find our friendly goats in a fenced area. They're charming and friendly and curious and we leave some food for you to feed them if you wish. Please limit feeding to no more than 3 containers per day.
- Guests will have exclusive use of the lower floor of this home. The owner lives upstairs and is respectful of noise, though you may hear the occasional light footsteps above.
- Shared foyer – Entry is via a shared foyer. The laundry is for your private use, and the space may occasionally be accessed by the owner via a separate door behind the apartment.
- We are in a nature reserve and thus there is wildlife around - Koalas, goannas, snakes. Please close all external doors if you are not using them to help keep wildlife out.
- There is a security camera located at the front of the house. It films the driveway and top of the steps leading down to your level.
