Mariner's Watch 101 invites its guests to enjoy oceanfront accommodations with landscaped grounds surrounding the ocean side pool with direct access through the living area from your private balcony. Comfortable and clean, first floor end unit with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and sleeps 6. You're just a mile from the Garden City Pier, amusements, food and more! Make Mariner's Watch your family's Garden City Beach vacation spot for years to come!

Mariner's Watch is located 1 mile north of the Garden City Pier in Horry County. This three-story oceanfront complex offers first floor units with direct access to the pool area right from the balcony. There is no elevator at Mariner's Watch. Pool furniture is not provided, so be sure to bring or rent beach chairs to lounge by the pool, which is open Easter to November 1. Grab your beach chairs and head down to the sand and sea which is only a few steps away. Enjoy barbecuing at the community charcoal grill or take a short drive and dine out. Two parking permits are issued per unit. Motorcycles and trailers are allowed. Sorry, recreational vehicles, boats, golf carts, and pets are not permitted.

For the rate charged, the unit should have been cleaner. There were stains on the mattress covers and pillows, dust on ceiling fan and lights, light in living room didn't work and we tried changing the bulb and it still didn't work, bathroom lights were dusty, shower curtain liner had pink mold, wallpaper was peeling, dust on dresser drawer pulls, sliding door in living was very hard to open and shut and the bedroom one would not open. Also, there was no extra toilet paper and we had to go buy some. No laundry soap.On the plus side, the view was great and the pool was clean. When housekeeping wraps up the towels and sheets, it would also be nice if they marked what is in the package, so we don't have to undo to try and find what we were looking for. It would be nice to get something of a refund, but we should have contacted the office with these issues. Just will not recommend this location to anyone.
