Great Place

This cozy place was great for a couples weekend getaway. It was quiet, and nestled in the countryside yet close enough to town. We enjoyed our stay.

Needs a refresh

Check in process was easy. Place for the most part was clean. There was dirty dishes in the dishwasher. There are TV’s in the bedrooms but either no remotes and/or didn’t work. The ceiling fan in the lower bedroom didn’t work. The deck furniture is rusted, needs a good paint job, and an old frayed rug and umbrella. The place was well stocked with extra paper towels, coffee/tea, and some min cooking essentials. Beds were comfortable. Liked the close parking. There was no book like in most VRBO’s that gave info on the house, check out instructions, or places in the area they recommend. I texted and emailed the contact person they gave me if there was an issue, wanted to get check out instructions. I didn’t hear back for over 18 hours. Glad it wasn’t a major issue. Overall good place to stay. Just needs some touch ups and better communication.

Poor communication

1. Coordination between VRBO & Vacasa lacking 2. Day of check-in, with no emails re: check in, contacted Vacasa - they unable to send emails to me, bounced back. Finally sent email with check-in info to traveling companion. However, door code not included on email. Stayed on the line until Vacasa rep found and verbally gave us the door code. 3. While waiting for rep, I tried the number on VRBO support, and it failed to connect. 4. Info about the resort not up to date re: access to ammenities. 5. No email provided regarding check out procedure. 6. Vacation is for relaxing and enjoying 3 days with family, not stressing and spending time trying to get access to the property reservation.
