Great place and excellent location

Property is lovely and located very conveniently for the centre of Samur but in a quiet location. Only improvement would be house number on the outside gate (the number on the house is difficult to see). Would definitely stay again.

Comfy home in a sweet town!

We were very lucky to have found this place--L'Escaplade--and enjoyed our three-week stay in Saumur, using the place as our base apartment, allowing us to take day trips in the Loire Valley and really get familiar with life in a friendly, lovely French town. Although it was just my husband and me staying there, the apartment has two bedrooms, so that I could see how it could accommodate a family nicely. There's a huge bathroom, and good light in both bedrooms. The place is furnished with comfy furniture and all you might need to cook your own meals, including a full-sized refrigerator, modern stove with an oven, and a dishwasher and microwave. In short, it's just like home. Finally, the location was perfect. Not having a car, it didn't matter because we were able to walk everywhere, but especially to Place St. Pierre, with its restaurants, bars, boulangerie and a pharmacy. It's also surprisingly close to the river. Our hosts, especially Yohann, were helpful and available when we had questions. If we ever go back to Saumur, we'll definitely rent l'Escaplade again!

Super Lage, ruhig aber in 5 min im Zentrum. Tisch oder Regal im Badezimmer würde es perfekt machen (Platz ist genug). Ausstattung lässt ansonsten keine Wünsche offen.

Agradable y bien situado

Limpio y decoración moderna. Barrio muy silencioso y cerca del centro a pie. La entrada se hace con código y no hay contacto con nadie de la propiedad; para dudas hay un dossier con instrucciones de todo tipo. Patio lateral muy sucio con muchas palomas, aunque no forma parte de la propiedad que se alquila.

Very comfortable, stylish property in good location

The apartment has been styled with thought and care. The kitchen is excellent and everything else is very comfortable. It was very clean. The location is good: in the old town, 4/5 minutes walk to riverbank with on-street parking. We were 2 adults and space enough for 4 adults but too small for 6. The only negative aspect is the outside space. It is small with lots of pigeons flying around, dropping feathers ans such which meant we could not use it. Overall, a lovely comfortable holiday apartment.
