This place is amazing Armin and Tanja are so welcoming and the place has everything you'll need and more. The bed is amazing and they were so kind to give us some fruit and vegetables and home made cake and jam. They also have a lot of knowledge about the national park. Highly recommend staying here!

A secluded location 8 km from Blenheim above the Motueka River. Tanja and Armin were very welcoming, even delivering a bowl of freshly-picked tomatoes for our evening meal.

This cottage with view porch is pre-fab housing, efficiently constructed to use solar power and filtered and UV-treated rainwater. There is a vegetable greenhouse on the property and the hosts are generous in sharing produce. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and clean. The bed is large and superb. The place is next-door to the fabled Motueka River for fly-fishing enthusiasts; and, it is only about a 15 min. drive to Motueka city center and its Sunday Market. Situated on a hillside, automobile parking is at the bottom of a 50 meter up-or-down walk...although temporary loading and unloading at the top is easily done. WiFi reception had dropouts, something the host is working to update. In the South Island, I found that I often needed to rely on a data/hotspot E-sim in my iPhone over the locally available WiFi. If you are capable of a short hillside walk to car parking, this is an excellent place to stay...in my mind superior to being in Motueka town.
